Ch.42

-Chika's POV

Bakugo kept glaring at me as Midoriya didn't pay him any attention.

He only kept glaring and glaring, only at me as Midoriya walked away holding me in his arms.

At some point I broke the eye contact with him, he looked scary.

But then again it's not like I wanted to be picked up, I would have been perfectly fine if I had been just left alone.

...But now Bakugo probably wants to bully me for this.

I glance up at Midoriya, he is so strange.

He completely forgot everything, and he has no idea that the girls around him just three months ago hate him to no end.

It's all so stupid.

He is clueless of the truth but... he doesn't necessarily seem to enjoy their company around him.

...even the teacher was scared of him.

"Sorry but I don't know your name." He said bringing me out of my thoughts as I glance up again.

His voice has gotten deeper as well.

"Kaneko... but you can put me down, I can walk." I said, I know it will hurt but it's nothing I can't push through.

"You're lying." He simply said as he didn't even glance at me or stop... he is bluffing, he can't tell whether am lying or not, I know no one can.

"Am not, so you can put me down, plus the girls will be upset if you aren't-"

"That's fine, but you're lying so stay quiet." He said still being so, empty?

He is kinda weird, but he has been weird for a while.

First getting into that fight, rather he just beat that boy up without much of a care in the world.

He was being mercilessly with him, there was quite a bit of blood too, I wonder what really made him snap tho.

And even Bakugo wouldn't yell at him, that's also weird... everything is so weird.

The whole world is so weird.

But am the most weirdest person being held by Midoriya of all people... it's weird.

"Isn't the nurse suppose to be here?" Midoriya's voice made me snap back to reality as he placed me down on the empty bed in this overly white room.

I don't get why these kind of places are white, if you woke up from a coma you might think you died and you're in heaven from how white it is and also just how blinding it is to wake up in a place like this...

It's so stupid, honestly, they could've choose a more 'easier' colour.

Midoriya just stood there staring at the door way then he looked back over to me.

"Do you need anything?" He asked staring at me, I don't think he actually cares or has much of an emotion to what happened so why is he doing this?

And why did he know I was lying...?

"No, but I could just sit at the cafeteria so this is useless." I said staring back at him then look over to the ground.

"No, the noise, the sitting position, none of it would be beneficial." He said while I kept staring at the ground.

He is right, I would probably get a headache having to sit there surrounded with the others, they're loud.

I glance up at him as he turned away and I thought he was leaving but he grabbed a chair and put it beside the bed am sitting on and he sat down and stretch his legs out while closing his eyes and leaning back.
