Ch.77

Kaneko pat Bakugo's head as she could tell just how out of it the boy is.

She was being gentle like she had been doing all week, gently patting his head hoping it eases him a little bit.

After all he had cried in her arms and cling to her, so she thought that maybe he really is actually into being physically cared for, not that she would have ever guess that before or even really glance his way.

But life got some interesting path going on for everyone, and she seem to stumble upon her own since a short while back.

She glanced at him, she knew he isn't well and not just from those circles around his eyes from lack of sleep.

He has been acting weirdly like an older brother which she only really knew because of the stories she would read, otherwise she would have called him weird.

But he is resembling an older brother.

Which probably tires him out quite a bit looking after her, doing something he isn't used to.

She even over heard him how he doesn't want to come to school which he was mumbling to himself about but then he scold himself saying how he needs to, so he can make sure she doesn't get killed by the girls.

Though she did not tell him that she had overheard him, she knew he would be pissed and it is still burned into her mind how he looked ready to kill over a week ago outside.

She could still shiver from remembering how he looked at her.

And after Midoriya collapsed he really seemed out of it, like someone blow his life candle out.

Of course others did not notice feeling way too happy with Midoriya not being around.

Not being a threat to them.

Everyone seemed happy except these two, Kaneko and Bakugo but like mentioned no one noticed.

The girls, rather Kobayashi was just hoping Bakugo would skip a day, leave school early or get himself in detention but he did not.

He came to school on time, he did not leave early, he did not leave Kaneko alone.

Even going as far as to wait front of her class room as he had realised that the 'bitch' isn't scared enough of him.

He knew if he left the girl alone for way too long the bitch would definitely try to sink her claws into the small girl.

And he could not let that happen.

He had to make sure Kaneko is safe and well.

After all his love seem so fond of the girl, he couldn't even bring himself to be jealous.

It just would not have felt right for him to be like that at the moment, so he didn't.

He had to be strong and wait till he hears anything about his love but strangely enough when he went to the hospital once again, they deny all his access, telling him no one is permitted to go and visit him.

Although, he was told that he, Midoriya is alive and he won't die.

Though that sounded awful weird, it just felt so off how the doctors talked to him... like they were petrified of something.

And it only got worst when they saw that tears almost slip from his eyes... like frantic idiots, they tried calming him down like he was some innocent little kid who got told something horrible on accident.

Everything just felt off...

"Everything was going so great..." Bakugo mumbled staring at the floor by the girls restroom which Kaneko exited and they left to have lunch together like they have done it all week.
