Skylar's POV

There's something about seeing your old ex-boyfriend that just scares the shit out of you.

Then there's something about seeing your old ex-boyfriend inside YOUR OWN FREAKING FLAT that scares even MORE shit out of you.

I was feeling both.

"RYAN?" I stuttered. "What--how--why--"

He crossed the room, and I heard the girls gasp. I knew why. Even after 6, 7 years, Ryan McKellan was still eye-candy.

"Shh," he whispered, pulling me up. "I just want to talk."

"About what?" I asked, trying to pull away from him.

"She's not going anywhere," Eleanor snarled from the couch. Ryan glanced her way, and her breath hitched. "I mean, uh, Sky, maybe you should listen to him."

God, he still had his way with women. Clearly I wasn't going to win this fight. But I was going to try my hardest. "Ryan, you idiot, how the hell did you get into my house? Let alone FIND my house?"

"Ashlyn gave me the address," he said. "When I did a search your name popped up."

"Mars Almighty he's hot," Sierra breathed, and I turned to glare at her.

"Anyways," he said, coughing. "I just want 5 minutes to talk, Skylar. That's it."

I glanced at my friends, who were obviously not going to offer me any help. They were too busy staring at his abs through his shirt. Good grief. "Fine," I snapped. "But what does Ashlyn think about this?"

"As far as I was concerned, I never had any intention of meeting up with her when I realized she was living with you," he breathed into my ear as he wrapped his arm around my waist and towed me out of the room.

This. Was. Not. Good. At. All.

He pulled the two of us into the broom closet. It was so cramped we were literally pressed up against each other.

"Get away from me," I hissed, squirming, but in his iron-solid grip and the tight confinement I was in, it was nearly impossible.

He flashed his trademark grin. I used to call it his lure smirk. "Now, is that any way to talk to your boyfriend?" he murmured, leaning in.

I pushed him off. "We're not dating," I whispered furiously. Why, oh why did I even agree to talking to him?

"Well technically, we never broke it off," he breathed. His breath sent shivers down my spine, but not in a good way. More of like a really awkward and creepy way that made you feel like something bad was about to happen.

"Which means that I've cheated on you. Twice," I said. "Wait, three times." If you counted Niall.

"I don't care," he breathed, pushing me onto him.

"Stop it," I snapped, but my escape attempts were futile.

Ryan just cocked his head at me and chuckled. "Poor little Skylar," he murmured. "I wonder how your little boyfriend's going to react when he realizes you're gone."

"WHAT? GONE? HOW--" were the last words I uttered before all I saw was blackness.

Eleanor's POV

We heard a door slam, and we assumed it was Ryan leaving.

"God Ryan is so hot," Jenna said dreamily, as we waited for the arrival of Skylar.

"I know," I said, scowling. "He had me all over the place."

"He didn't seem to phase Sky," Dani pointed out.
