Ed's POV

When Skylar yelled that Ryan was supposed to be dead, I was extremely shocked.

When Eleanor yelled that Shane was supposed to be in jail, I was worried. What had the gang gotten into before I stepped into the picture?

"What do you mean?" Ryan asked. Skylar shook behind Jenna. "Get away from me," she shouted viciously.

"Skylar, Ryan's--" I began.

"Edward Christopher Sheeran if you tell me Ryan is going to play Niall in the music video I am going to CASTRATE YOU," Skylar shrieked. "HE TRIED TO KILL ME! AND WHEN THE POLICE CAME, HIS HOUSE BURNT DOWN WITH HIM INSIDE IT!"

"And what the hell is Shane doing here?" Eleanor shouted. "You're supposed to be in jail," she snapped at him.

Shane shook his head. "I got bail."

"And you?" Jenna snapped to Ryan. "You kidnapped Skylar, tortured her, and put a gun to her. Why are you not dead?"

"I didn't die in the fire," he said, as if it were the most logical thing ever.

"So what's your explanation for it?" Skylar asked, paler than a ghost. "How are we so sure this isn't some master plan or something? You definitely had the brains to pull it off in high school."

"Skylar," Ryan said, walking towards her.

"Get away," she said walking away. "I don't want you to touch me, let alone come near me."

He stopped where he was. "Skylar, I'm here for the music video."

Her eyes went wide and I could've sworn she stopped breathing. "Ed. Sheeran." She spun on me.

"I had no idea your past," I stammered.

 "Ryan, you were going to sell me to someone," Skylar snapped. "Who?"

"My boss," Ryan replied. "Who is now in jail. I was acting on orders, he threatened to kill my family."

"So you tortured and nearly killed me in return, that's so brave of you," she said sarcastically.

"Skylar, I still love you," Ryan pleaded. "You have to hear me out."

"Before I do," Skylar said, she turned to Eleanor. "Your turn."

"Right." Eleanor glared at Shane. "F*ck off." 

"Eleanor," I said tightly. 

"Fine," she snapped. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to help as well," he said weakly. "Ellie, I'm sorry."

"Don't call me that," she said, flinching. "You took advantage of me, Shane. And you're my f*cking second-cousin!"

I gasped. "Actually?"

"That's why there was that huge court case," Jenna explained.

Oh.

"What are you helping with?" Danielle asked, speaking up for the first time in ages.

"Ryan asked me to come with him," Shane admitted.

"The two of you know each other?" Skylar asked. When the two nodded, she muttered, "Small world."

"So," I said, swallowing. "Now that we've established that Ryan didn't die and Shane got bailed out of jail, can we move onto the filming?"
