Liam's POV
"Yes, Simon, we'll be there," Louis spoke rapidly into the phone. One hand was on the phone against his ear, the other was on Eleanor's stomach, which was beginning to swell rapidly. She was due in less than a month now, which was all really exciting for us.
I squeezed Dani's hand as she smiled at me. She knew what Skylar was going to do at the party. So did Sierra, Harry, Zayn, and Perrie.
Niall fidgeted nervously. "Tiff's gonna be there," he said reported from his phone. "And Emblem3."
"Awesome," Sierra said. "I love their new stuff. And there old stuff."
Harry glared at her. "Really?"
She giggled and kissed him on the cheek. "Shut up, I love you guys. You should know that."
Harry pretended to be pleased, though secretly, he had to be. "I know."
"So is S--" Louis began, and cut himself off. Instead, he looked at me as if to say, Is Skylar there yet?
I nodded in confirmation. "Backstage with Ed, Olly, and her friends."
"Who?" Zayn asked, trying to make it look like he had no idea who we were talking about.
I smiled and shrugged innocently. "I don't know."
"Clearly you do," Eleanor said, her eyes twinkling. She squeezed Louis's hand.
Niall was totally confused. "What are you guys talking about?" he asked.
I was about to make him even more lost when the limo pulled to a stop underground. "You're here," the driver said.
"Thanks, mate," Harry said, tossing a roll of bills. "We'll see you back here at 12?"
"Yeah." The driver was greedily counting his money. Good grief.
We had to enter the building underground because if the paps got hold of the secret party, we'd be toast. Basically, those who were invited were sworn to secrecy, nothing was to be posted on social media, not even pictures of what had unfolded tonight. Then we had to sign contracts saying that we swore we would follow the terms of the invitation, or may our contracts with our respective recording companies be terminated.
Yeah, it was serious.
"Dixie-chicks serious," Dani joked, quoting Aubrey from Pitch-Perfect.
We all laughed. The group of us piled into the elevator and rode up to the top floor. The doors sprang open and we saw Tiffany, Jenna, and Emblem3 having drinks around a small table and laughing.
"HEY!" Sierra called, and Jenna turned, her eyes lighting up.
"Sierra," Jenna said, grinning. "What's up, girlfriend?"
Jenna and Tiffany drew Sierra into their current coversation, leaving Harry standing awkwardly around when Niall let out a strangled gasp.
"Dominique?" he asked wildly, and a girl about three metres in front of him turned around. Her eyes widened, and her mouth dropped open. Then she scampered off.
"What's wrong?" Louis asked nervously, hoping the jig wasn't up yet.
"That was Dominique," Niall said firmly.
"What makes you say that?" I asked, swallowing.
"It was her, she spotted me and ran away," Niall insisted.
"Which girl?" Zayn asked, coming over with Perrie.
"Dominique," Niall said. "It was her. What the hell is she doing here?"
