Expect the Unexpected (A One Direction & Emblem3 Fan Fiction)

Chapter 4

I don't know if some of you are thinking this, but I'm wondering if you guys are noticing that for Expect the Unexpected, I'm starting back at Chapter 1. 

If you are wondering why, the reason is Change of Heart was never really supposed to be a book. It was kind of like the first book, My Guitar Buddy, was split into 2 parts, like they do it in some books, where they have a 'Two  Years Later...' section. It's just that my supposedly small short chapter was in need of an expansion, which is why I just decided to create two books. 

Originally, my plan was to have 2 books, and to have Change of Heart split up between MGB and ETU. Except...once COH was finished...it didn't really make sense to delete the book and I thought that all the action that happened deserved it's own book.

Thus, Change of Heart was created. 

So to summarize, COH and MGB were supposed to be ONE BOOK with TWO PARTS. I just split up the two parts and make TWO SEPERATE BOOKS.

Got it?

Great, now on to Chapter 4.

Skylar's POV

I woke up and stretched. Then I squinted at the calendar.

"Three days!" Jenna said, bursting into my room. "The dinner is tonight, wake up and start getting ready!"

"What time is it?" I groaned.

"It's about..." Jenna glanced at her phone. "3 o'clock in the afternoon. Dinner is in two hours, soon-to-be sister-in-law, so up and at 'em."

"Who's supposed to be at this dinner?" I groaned, sitting up.

"Well Vee and Carter, of course, myself, One Direction, Ellie, Sierra, Dani, and Tiff," Jenna rattled off.

"Wait, Tiff?" I groaned.

"Yeah," Jenna said.

"Why?" I moaned, flopping back onto the bed. "How?"

"Well Niall picked her up from the airport," Jenna said.

"That's why he wasn't around," I realized.

"Yup. Apparently she'd been missing him and flew out."

"Wonderful, I'm sure Sierra's ecstatic."

"Sierra's actually really surprised, she's never seen her cousin act so strangely. Sierra says it's unnatural," Jenna said.

"Really?" I asked. "Did she say what was different?"

"Sierra didn't elaborate, but it must've been serious, because as soon as Tiffany walked through the door she knew something was wrong."

I sighed. "Well, I'm gonna hop into the shower. Thanks for letting me sleep in."

"Not a problem," Jenna chirped. "We'll be leaving at 4:30."

"Where's she staying?" I asked.

"Who?"

"Tiffany."

"She's at the boys' flat," Jenna replied. "Sierra said she didn't want to share a room with her."

"Fantastic," I said, my mood brightening instantly. "That bitch is so not allowed in my flat."
