~ELEANOR’S POV~

No human being should have to feel this. To feel all this confusion, uncertainty, and heartache.

I started to see white spots, my head felt like I’d been shot. The uncontrollable sobs reeked havoc on my sound sensitive ears. My legs went weak, bringing me to the floor. I faintly heard Ryan shout my name and then felt Molly’s arms around me.

“Molly,” I sobbed. “What did I do? Why do I always find the bad guys?!”

“Shhh, Ellie, Ellie. I know. But I think Ryan really didn’t mean it, I think he really loves you…”

“How could you know?”

“Nash told me everything… he said that Ryan talks about you all the time. But you’re innocent. You have a right for this hesitation, after… Nathan. I’m so sorry El!” She hugged me tighter and stroked my hair.

Frustration clashed with sadness.

“MY HEAD!” I screamed. I held my throbbing skull with both hands, feeling nauseous. I wailed one last time in pure pain and agony before the white spots turned to black veils and I went unconscious.

~RYAN’s POV~

Nash pulled me into our condo and let me go. I was breathless. I let out a scream and punched the wall, drywall surrounding my fist as it made an indent.

I needed her. She made me so happy. I sat in the white chair next to the fireplace and caressed my face with my hands, holding back tears. I was so angry at myself, I hated myself for the decisions I made tonight. I was probably the stupidest person, hurting the girl I wanted before I even got her, even when I knew she’s been hurt to a bigger degree in the past.

I heard the most painful scream come from across the hall. The color drained from my face. The boys looked up and then at me. I met their gaze and then bolted to the door and barging through the next one into the condo across the hall. I saw Eleanor motionless laying in Molly’s arms.

“What happened?! WHAT HAPPENED?!” I cried. I ran and knelt beside her, hugging her limp torso.

“Everything’s fine, she’s just fainted,” Molly soothed.

“Eleanor, wake up! Please!” Ian came down to my level and put a hand on my shoulder.

“Dude, shh, just be quiet. Calm down.”

“She said she had a headache, it probably escalated into a migraine from all this crap and she passed out!” Molly said.

Everyone went quiet. The TV from Ashley’s room was the only sound next to a few muffled sobs.

“I screwed up!” I sighed.

“You don’t say?!” Nash said sarcastically.

Then Eleanor lightly gasped and moved a bit, eyelids fluttering.
