Chapter 17

~RYAN’S POV~

I had her in my arms, finally. That kiss almost killed me, I’ve wanted it for so long.

Her beautiful frame lay next to me, against my side. I watched her torso move up and down with her breathing. I closed my eyes, talking in the moment, making it last forever in my head.

Ian and Jamie got home shortly after we laid down. They went straight to their rooms, I don’t even know if they saw us on the couch. I thought Molly laugh across the hall. I keep falling fast towards sleep, it was hard to focus on this night anymore.

I heard a muffled whisper… “I think I love you.”

But I woke up the next morning not being able to say if it was a dream or not…

“WAKEY WAKEY!” Nash shouted.

Eleanor stirred beside me, my eyes slowly opened and saw Nash and Molly walking in.

“Dude, shut up!” I hissed. I wrapped my arm around Eleanor again and closed my eyes.

The next time I woke up, I was alone. I panicked, still groggy I didn’t know what was for sure happening. I smelled bacon, then I heard that perfect laugh of her’s and I instantly remembered yesterday. The day she kissed me, and at MY spot. The day she said she loved me… wait? Did she? The uncertainty murdered me; I wanted it to be real.

I got up and walked into the kitchen. Eleanor sat cross-legged on the chair, her hair dark and wavy. It flowed down her back like a waterfall. She still wore my shirt, which made me smile. She noticed me standing in the doorway and her cute grin appeared again.

“Wow lazy head! Sleep well?” she giggled.

“Yes, because I was next to you!”

Molly made her presence known my scoffing.

“Shut up! You were getting it on more than me, you and Nash!” Eleanor said.

Molly blushed and went to the fridge.

Then Jamie rushed in suddenly, his eyes glued to his phone, his fingers typing at the speed of light.

“Who are you texting?” I asked. He looked up and I saw the lipstick on his cheek.

“Who’s the girl?” I teased.
