Chapter 30

-RYAN’S POV-

My whole body ached, wherever I was it was pitch black, I couldn’t see anything. I couldn’t move my legs, when I tried the pain was unbearable. I felt the dried blood all over my skin, my left arm hurt the most. I was scared, heartbeat fast, sweaty yet freezing cold.

Suddenly I was blinded by light. The sudden brightness made me jump slightly.

“Who’s there?” I asked the silence.

A large built man walked into the eyes, anger and very rose inside me.

“Nathan?” I stated.

“Well hi there, Ryan… comfortable? Thought not. You’re probably wondering what’s going on but I don’t really wanna tell you,” he smirked. “Let’s just say that Eleanor is still mine, and you are not taking her away from me!”

“She doesn’t love you!” I yelled.

“She’s still mine you idiot!” His fist met my jaw sending me to the ground; the taste of blood touched my tongue. I moaned in pain, I felt like I was going to die. Then there was my extreme worry for Eleanor, I couldn’t lose her, I couldn’t. What was he going to do to her? I was frustrated I couldn’t do anything, the crash left me marred.

“Don’t worry though, you won’t be too lonely….” he stepped to the side and a woman appeared from the menacing shadows. She looked all dressed up, trying to be sexy… to me she looked like a hooker still unattractive but now she gave me fear.

“Hi Ryan!” Ashley said, too bubbly and excited. I was frozen with fear, why was this happening?!?!

She walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder, as if it would calm me down.

“Do what you want, if he doesn’t comply, you know what to do. I’ll be with MY girlfriend,” Nathan’s smile was pure evil, I actually feared for Eleanor’s life. And she didn’t see anything coming.

I pictured what she was doing, was she found and taken to the hospital? Did Nathan already have her?

I pictured her crying, I wanted to kiss each tear of her cheek and tell her everything was going to be okay, even though I was very uncertain of that. I needed her, I missed her, I needed to know she was okay, that was all that mattered.

Nathan put a pocket knife in his pocket and walked out the door.
