Chapter 13

~ELEANOR’S POV~

I woke up the next morning completely alone. I remembered falling asleep on the couch with Ryan after a movie but he was nowhere to be seen. I threw off the detailed blanket and tiptoed to Molly’s room.

“Morning sleepy head!” she grinned.

“What time is it? Where is everybody?” I asked.

“It’s two in the afternoon and Ryan left three hours ago to plan stuff. You should have seen him, I thought he was going to explode from how nervous he is. He really wants to make a good impression.”

I sighed, “I think this will be good, I need to get over Nathan and move on, try new things, and trust people.”

Molly sharply yanked through a snarl in her dark auburn hair. She looked dressed up, with a flowery skirt and a red blouse. She noticed me looking suspicious.

“Nash is taking me to dinner,” she blushed.

“Really?!” I squealed. I hugged her quick and pulled back beaming excitement! “I knew I saw the flirting between you two! You have to tell me everything!”

“You have to tell me everything too of course! You know how long we’ve been waiting for you and Ryan to get together?!”

“We’re not together, we’re just going on another date,” I said, my cheeks flushing red.

“You’re not together YET!” she smirked.

I rolled my eyes and left to go get ready. The warm water from the shower trickled down my skin, calming me. I did my hair, twisting it into a long braid. I shoved through all the clothes in my dresser, finally finding the light blue short shorts. I choose a cream colored lacey shirt to go over my coral tank top. Leather boots completed my outfit, along with a few fabric bracelets and small diamond earrings that my aunt have me for my 15th birthday.

“I’m leaving Ellie! Have fun, be safe!” I heard Molly shout from the entryway.

The flock of butterflies in my stomach went into a frenzy as I heard a knock at my door..
