Chapter 21 - Part 1

~ ELEANOR'S POV~

I smiled, “I love you Ryan.”

He leaned down and kissed my forehead, and then we snuggled close and drifted to sleep.

I licked my lips, they tasted like dried blood. I crouched under the dining room table.

“HELP!” I screamed, but no one ever came. He came closer and closer, blade drawn, shadows covered his face. The room was dark, more glass surrounded me. Tears covered my pale face, the color leaving from my cheeks, as he was right in front of me now. My body ached in sobs, knowing what was about to happen. He slowly lowered himself to my level, the moonlight lit his face. Those deep blue eyes burned with anger as Nathan cut my wrist open, his grimace showing the fun he was having. I cried out in pain, fresh blood, spilled from my veins, and then I fell into the black hole.

My body jolted upright, my clothes were damp along with the sheets around me. The cool air met my sweaty skin with a chill, making me shiver. I looked over to see the bed was empty.
