-ELEANOR'S POV-

It was after 3 in the afternoon, perfectly clear sky. The light breeze blew stray hairs in my face as me and Ryan walked down the sidewalk hand in hand. We were so close our shoulders brushed against each other. We'd talk about random things, point out goofy outfits or beautiful buildings.

Eventually we stumbled upon a small corner cafe. It's architecture looked original to the city. Wide wooden windows let the afternoon light pool inside the small room. Ryan ordered his usual coffee, I got my tea. Our order of pasta was delivered to our wrought iron table set beside the cafe where we sat.

I would look up at Ryan to catch him smiling, almost silently laughing.

"Why are you smiling?" I giggled.

He just sighed trying to find the words to say. "I just can't wait to see your face," he grinned.

"What are you talking about?"

"You'll see, soon enough..."

"You're sneaky Follese!" I laughed. He winked and took another bite.

After eating we walked to Big Ben and gazed at it's size and aurora. Ryan kept pulling me to different carts on the sidewalk. We tried little snacks, food we've never tasted or heard of. And always hand in hand, where I felt incredibly safe and warm from just that small contact.

And finally just after sunset, we wound up sitting on the edge of a huge fountain, it's waterfalls flowing behind us.

"Look at the stars," I whisper into the silence. He looks up with me and smiles.

"They're not as beautiful as you." I blush and his hand caresses my red cheek.

We look at the stars for a moment, my head resting on his shoulder. One of his hands held my waist close, while his other was in his pocket.

Suddenly, as if the whole time he was building enough courage to interrupt this moment, he shouts, "Look over there!" I turn my head in the direction he pointed but I only see some people in the distance walking, it's very private and quiet where we are.

I turn back to face him. "Ryan I don't see-"

I gasp, my hands fly to my mouth, my eyes start to water because I have never been treated like this by any man.

In Ryan's hand lays a long black velvet box. Inlaid in the cushion was a bracelet, a thin platinum chain with an 'infinity' symbol in the middle, drawn with diamonds.

"Oh my- Ryan, what- how the, oh my gosh!" I stammered.

"It's our 2-month anniversary," he whispered, so close to my face. I hadn't even had the thought to keep track, my life has been so hectic this summer. A couple tears fell, happy tears, and he wiped them away with his finger as he continued talking.

"This is to remind you that I am going to love you forever, for infinity. I love you so much Eleanor Rose Evans, you have no idea. I have never felt this kind of love before, even though this all happened so fast. He kissed me then, so softly but yet so passionate. We broke apart and hooked the bracelet around my wrist.

"I love you. I love you so much Ryan Keith Follese... thank you," I said.

"Remember how I said you have to do something for me now, in the elevator?" he asked.

I nodded, still at a loss of words.

"You have to wear this bracelet forever, for infinity," he smirked. I nodded in agreement and he smiled so big, so big I thought his face might break. Then he kissed me once more.
