-ELEANOR'S POV-

My first thought when I woke up was my headache.

Second, what time was it? I looked at the clock on the nightstand that read 11:04am.

Third, I was alone. I turned over to see the space next to me empty. It made me feel void, I felt cold.

What have I done?

I get up too fast, my head spins, my vision swings. I lean against the dresser until I can see straight. I've had worst hangovers, but I wish Ryan was here with me.

No, I didn't need him, he was over-reacting last night! He was treating me like a kid!

My mind was too boggled to argue with myself. I drank some orange juice before I got ready. Just a pair of black sweatpants and my Nike sweatshirt. My hair is pulled back into a loose bun, ugh I was still so tired.

I walked to the big window overlooking the city. It was sunny again today, Big Ben glimmered in the distance. People on the streets were busy, even though it was a Sunday.

There had to be some tea in this room. I shuffled though the drawers and found a box of tea bags. Just plain and simple flavor. I was too lazy to heat the water in a kettle. I just put a mug of water in the microwave and sunk the bag, watching the clear water turn a light brown. One spoonful of sugar and then finished.

I sat down on the couch and let the quiet surround me. I don't know how long I sat there, I heard laughs from the hallway and then silence again. Clouds inched across the bright blue sky as I watched.

I came to realize that even though he was the one I was mad at, I wanted Ryan here to comfort me. I could talk to him for hours and never get bored. It felt weird not talking to him this long.

I wondered what he was doing right now. Sleeping? Is he mad, is he thinking about me?

I suddenly got antsy, I couldn't sit still. I paced around the room, coming to the realization that I needed him, I needed my best friend. What a stupid little fight this was, in all reality.

I took one last sip of my tea and barged into the hallway, heading down to Ryan's room. I knocked again and again but no one answered. Maybe he was still sleeping. I sat down against the wall next to his door and decided to wait and knock again in a few minute.

Next thing I knew I was being shaken awake. How long have I been asleep in a hotel hallway?

"ELEANOR? Eleanor are you okay?!

"Ryan?"

"What are you doing out here?"

"I was waiting for you to wake up," I said. He was fully dressed, jeans and a cute denim jacket. He just looked great while I looked like shit.

He ran his fingers through his hair after letting my shoulders go. He stood up with me still on the floor.

"I just went to go get a coffee," he stated, more serious now.

"Oh," I reply, slowly getting up so I don't get another head rush. He was obviously still upset from last night. There was a significant gap between us. We stood there awkwardly, his coffee probably getting cold in his hand.

"Look, I'm sorr-" he started but I crashed my lips to his, hands on his flushed cheeks as he stumbled back, getting his balance. I let go of him, standing back from him again.

"I'M sorry," I said. "I know you were only doing it because you care about my safety and I shouldn't have yelled at you..."

He stepped into me and lifted my chin up with his finger so our faces were a few inches apart.

"I'm sorry too," he whispered. "I was over-reacting a little I guess... and maybe I was a bit jealous."

"Baby," I soothed, "I only have eyes for YOU!" I laughed, tapping his nose. He finally smiled and kissed me, I melted back into his arms. My world was balanced again.
