my tenses are gonna be all over the place (is, was) starting with this imagine, cause like, i try to use the simple present tense mostly but i only do that for my imagines books, and since i only write in simple present for my imagines, i use simple past/past continuous in a lot of my other works, and it's kinda hard for me to get out of using a certain tense if i've written in that for a while and i get too lazy to edit sometimes before i publish 'cause a lot of times i already have the raw piece, and i have to add finishing touches before publishing it, so from now on, some (not all) of my works will probably be written in past continuous, but i'll try to go back and edit most of them
this imagine is not gonna make sense. honestly i just started writing and this is where it went and i was like what's the point of spending an hour on something without publishing it so here it is
that's all here's the imagine
Taylor was working quietly in her office, the only sound being the soft clicking of her keyboard and the raging thunder storm outside.
Your two eldest daughters--the twins, Izzy and Gia were both peacefully asleep, excited to probably not have class tomorrow. But your youngest, Ollie, who was turning two in a few months, hadn't been able to sleep for a while now, scared of closing his eyes, apparently.
Of course, you didn't want to bother your wife, but Ollie was crying, probably hungry, and he refused any offers you made to him of his purée and formula.
So you cradled him in the crook of your arm and padded into the office, knocking softly on the open door. "Tay?" you called out softly, Ollie immediately wriggling out of your arms, trying to get to his mommy.
You chuckled and set him down, following him as he toddled to your wife, who'd swivelled her chair around and cooed, and climbed into her lap, pawing at her chest with his little hands.
Taylor laughed and lifted her shirt, under which she wore nothing, and let Ollie latch on. He immediately drew one of her nipples into his tiny mouth and started suckling contentedly, giggling up at his mommy.
You perched yourself on the edge of Taylor's desk, watching her and Ollie.
"Still not done with work?" you asked softly, reaching over to brush and errant strand of hair from her eyes.
She sighed and nuzzled into your touch. "I'm so close to just responding to every single one of these emails with I do what I want."
You laughed and shrugged. "It wouldn't be a bad idea."
Taylor gave you a pointed, mock-disapproving look before returning to her work.
The office was silent for a moment before Taylor broke it--or rather, Ollie did by suddenly biting down on his mother's nipple, making Taylor yelp, "Fuck!" and pull him away from her chest, hissing through her teeth.
Instantly, Ollie started crying at the sudden interruption, and you reached out hesitantly. But it looked like Taylor had it covered, gingerly switching him to the other side and trying to get him to latch again as he kicked and wailed.
"Fuck," she groaned, running a hand through her hair. "Y/N, take him for a minute, please, just so I can--"
You needn't be told twice. You scoop your son up in your arms and pace the office a bit, soothing him. One lap around the coffee table and Ollie was cooing and babbling up at you.
Taylor, however, was gingerly prodding and probing at her aching nipple, frowning. "That's the worst bite I've ever gotten from any of our kids," she complained softly, her voice shaking as she held back tears. "He has the strongest jaw in the world."
