dis is a short one
You sigh as you come up behind Taylor, who's cooking in the kitchen.
"Darling," you tell your girlfriend, frowning slightly.
You wrap your arms around her waist and bury your head in her neck.
Taylor chuckles softly, leaning back into your embrace as she stirs something in a bowl. "Good morning to you too," she says, her voice warm and teasing. "Didn't expect you to be up this early."
You hum, pressing a soft kiss to her neck before muttering, "Couldn't stay in bed without you. It's too cold."
She turns her head slightly, glancing at you with a playful smile. "Oh, so I'm just your personal heater now?"
"Among other things," you reply, squeezing her waist gently. "What are you making?"
"Pancakes," Taylor says, gesturing toward a plate already stacked with golden, fluffy pancakes.
You smile against her shoulder, touched by the gesture. "You're amazing, you know that?"
"Tell me something I don't know," she quips, but the blush creeping up her neck gives her away.
You laugh, spinning her around to face you. "Thank you," you say softly, brushing a stray strand of hair out of her face. "For this. For everything."
Her eyes soften, and she rests her hands on your shoulders. "Always," she murmurs, leaning in to press a tender kiss to your lips.
"Also, darling," you begin softly, a little more serious now.
Her playfulness immediately shifts to concern, her hands coming up to cup your face. "What's the matter, baby girl?"
"My period came today," you murmur. "And I took a pad from your drawer since I forgot--"
But you were interrupted.
"You're not pregnant?"
You look at her, confused and amused at the same time. "How can I be pregnant?"
"But I'm trying so hard!" she exclaims, covering her face in her hands.
Your cheeks flush at the reminder of her actually trying so hard. So. Hard.
"We both have vaginas!"
"I'll just try harder next time," she says resignedly, turning back to the stove.
"What!?"
