*Parker's POV*
As much as I loved spending the weekend with Holly, Blane and Megan, truly needed it, I am so happy to be home.
I missed my dad and Margot.
I talked to Dyson for a little while Saturday just to explain where I went and why I left, and my dad told me that Anson came to the house, but right now, I don't think I can stomach seeing her without letting everything that's weighing on me out.
I got home at literally midnight last night to all my favorite treats, my room clean, and Margot staying up until 1:30 to just talk me through everything that's been going on, and I really needed that from her.
But I think what I needed the most, is just the hug and cheek kiss she gave me, telling me she loves me and everything will work it's self out. I know I have my mom whenever I need her mentally, but physically, I just needed a true motherly love. And I'm so grateful Margot gives me that the same way my mom did when we lived together.
Right now though, I am walking in to school on this bright Monday morning, not at all ready to face the people I left this weekend, so I went and found the one person who might understand why.
I headed right to Cash's locker to see him digging through it.
"How was your weekend?" I pat his back and leaned against the lockers beside his.
He raised his eyebrows. "That's a joke, right?"
I scrunched my face. "No? I went to Pheonix for the weekend, I was curious how your weekend was. I just got back last night?"
He pursed his lips. "You're not here to rub it in?"
"Rub what in you psycho?" I let out a small laugh.
"Dude have you not talked to Anson?" He crossed his arms.
"No? I got back at like, midnight, and the last I knew she didn't want to talk to us? I mean, she went to my house Friday night, but-"
"Park stop." He held a hand up. "You need to go find her, like, right now. She's been waiting for you all weekend, I figured you two would talk when you got home, but-"
"What is going on?" I shook my head.
"She came to my house Friday night before she went to talk to you." He nodded.
And my heart, instantly dropped. "Oh." I cleared my throat.
"No no." He shook his head. "Parker, she came to tell me she loves me but-" he paused. "She made a decision, but you need to hear it from her." He nodded.
"Or I can just stay here and avoid her telling me she loves you." I sighed.
He gave me a small smile. "I promise you, I'm fine. But, do you see her here with me right now?"
"Well no, but-"
He raised his eyebrows and nodded.
Wait.
Wait just a god damn minute.
"Holy fuck." I let out a sigh of relief. "Holy fuck! Are you ok?"
"Parker I'm fine." He nodded. "We talked, she was honest, and you and I had a deal. We're still friends. Just, could you keep the PDA non existent around me please, until the sting dies down."
"Seriously Cash I'm sorry. You didn't deserve any of this."
"Come here you big baby." He pulled me in and hugged me. "Nulls tomorrow? Me you and Dyson so you can fill us in?"
