Chapter 76 Stella got abducted II

The waiter who was directing her earlier was standing above her with a cloth in his hand. He bent down and covered her nose with it.

Stella tried to push it off her nose but the pain at the back of her head made it impossible for her to even move. Her eyes looked into the night sky and the last thing she heard was the muffled sound of a woman and another man talking. After that, she passed out.

Inside the big hall, Reagan was thanking the CEOs from other cooperations for attending the anniversary. He glanced around from time to time when he noticed Stella hadn't returned.

But since the waiter said her parents wanted to see her before leaving, he didn't think too much about it. He had a small chat with Mrs. Sia and her husband and they told him to come with Stella when next he's coming overseas.

Reagan thanked them and Blake saw them off while he waited for Stella to come back. Ten minutes passed and Reagan hadn't seen any signs of Stella.

He stood up and decided to check around. Walking towards the big door, Reagan glanced around the hall. He looked towards his right and that's when his mind finally calms down.

Seeing the Brooks family sitting not too far from him, he quickened his steps.

"Mr. Reagan." Gabriel called immediately he saw him.

Reagan bowed slightly and greeted him and Mrs. Amelia. He looked around but he didn't see any sign of Stella. His brows furrowed.

"Where's Stella?" Mrs. Amelia asked, making Reagan's brows furrow the more.

"I thought she was with you."

They all shook they head. "She hasn't spoken to us since the party started."

"What! But a waiter came to our table and told her you wanted to see her before you leave."

"We didn't send any waiter to call her. We saw you guys were still having a meeting so we decided to wait until you finish before we call you." Gabriel replied.

Reagan was taken aback. He looked around the hall.

"Are you trying to say someone called Stella out pretending to be us?" Mrs. Amelia asked, seeing the confused look on Reagan's face.

"Yes!"

"Blake!" Reagan called out as he saw him enter through the front door. Blake jogged over to where they were.

"Yes boss."

"Have you seen Stella?" He asked.

Blake looked at Mrs. Amelia. "Didn't the waiter say her parents wanted to see her before they leave. After she left with the waiter, I didn't see her again."

Reagan fished his phone out of his pocket. He dialed her number and to his disappointment, her phone had been switched off.

"Boss." Blake called, making Reagan look up from his phone.

"Yes."

Blake pointed at his hand band. "Your hand band has gone off."

Reagan raised his hand. His eyes darkened when he saw the hand band was completely black, meaning it had lost connection with Stella's own.

"Shit!" Reagan shouted as he took to his heels and ran towards the door in full speed. Blake ran after him.

When they got outside, the sky was already pitch black.

"Blake, contact Brighton's station now, my wife is missing." Reagan ordered as he continued dialing her number.

Blake assembled all the bodyguards and requested for some officers to be sent from the Brighton police station. The main branch of the station was contacted and once they found out it was their boss wife that was missing, they dispatched more than 20 search units and anti-kidnapping squad who were specialized in cases linked with kidnapping.
