The four of them rushed to McGonagall's office, their footsteps echoing urgently in the quiet corridors of Hogwarts. Bursting into the Transfiguration classroom, they found McGonagall at her desk, poring over a stack of parchments.

"We have to see Professor Dumbledore, immediately!" Harry exclaimed, his voice urgent and determined.

McGonagall looked up, surprise flickering across her features. "I'm afraid Professor Dumbledore is not here," she replied, her voice tinged with concern. "He received an urgent owl from the Ministry of Magic and left immediately for London."

"He's gone? Now? But this is important! This is about the Philosopher's Stone!" Hermione interjected, her brow furrowed in worry.

McGonagall's eyes widened in shock. "How do you know...?" she started, clearly taken aback.

"Someone's going to try to steal it!" Harry insisted, cutting her off with urgency.

McGonagall's expression hardened with resolve. "I don't know how you four found out about the Stone, but I assure you it is perfectly well protected," she countered firmly. "Now would you go back to your dormitories? Quietly."

Y/N stepped forward, her voice steady but insistent. "We know about Fluffy too. Hagrid let slip that he's guarding the Stone. You have to believe us, Professor," she said urgently, her eyes pleading.

McGonagall regarded them sternly, her lips pressed into a thin line. "That's enough," she said firmly. "You've shared your concerns, but the safety of Hogwarts and the Philosopher's Stone are under control. Return to your dormitories now."

Feeling dismissed but knowing they had done all they could, the four of them exchanged worried glances. Reluctantly, they turned and left McGonagall's office, the weight of their revelations heavy on their shoulders as they walked back through the corridors of Hogwarts.
