A/N: Okay I am so excited to start writing this new chapter I have so many plans Idk how to put them within the story but I have plans! P.S. I got inspo from other Wattpad writers so if it sounds similar that is why. I'm not trying to copy!

As Harry descended the stairs, a cacophony of voices erupted from below.

"I'm warning you, Hermione! Keep that bloody beast of yours away from Scabbers or I'll turn it into a tea cozy!"

"He's a cat, Ronald! What do you expect? It's in his nature."

As Harry reached the bottom of the stairs, he found Ron protectively cradling Scabbers while Hermione struggled to restrain a hissing Crookshanks. Y/N was seated nearby, watching the commotion with a mixture of amusement and concern.

"A cat! Is that what they told you? Looks more like a pig with hair if you ask me," Ron grumbled.

"That's rich coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush." Hermione cooed to the cat, "It's all right, Crookshanks. You just ignore the mean little boy..."

Y/N shook her head with a smile. "Ron, I think you're being a bit harsh. Crookshanks isn't exactly a normal cat, but he's not trying to be offensive."

Hermione glanced at Y/N with gratitude. "Thanks, Y/N. I'm glad someone understands."

"Yeah, yeah. Well, I'm just saying—" Ron started, but was interrupted by the door bursting open.

Y/N's parents entered, carrying a few shopping bags and looking around curiously.

"There you are, dear! We were wondering where you'd gone off to," Y/N's mother said with a smile.

"Looks like there's quite the debate going on here," Y/N's father added.

"Hey, Mum, Dad. We were just having a little disagreement about Crookshanks. You know how Hermione's cat can be," Y/N explained.

Mr. Rivers nodded sympathetically. "I've heard about Crookshanks. He seems to be quite the character."

As Y/N's parents joined the conversation, Hermione looked at them gratefully. "Hello! It's good to see you. I hope you're enjoying your time here."

"Oh, very much so. Thank you. We're just a bit caught up in all the excitement," Y/N's mother replied.

"We've been browsing through Diagon Alley. It's amazing how many new things are available this year," Mr. Rivers added.

The group continued to chat amiably as they settled around a table in the Leaky Cauldron. Y/N's parents began unpacking their purchases while Hermione, Ron, and Harry caught up on their summer adventures.

"Egypt! What's it like?" Harry asked.

"Brilliant. It's got loads of old stuff. Mummies. Death masks. Tombs—" Ron began.

"You know, the ancient Egyptians of the Nile River delta worshipped the cat goddess Bast," Hermione interjected.

Ron shot a glare at Hermione but turned back to Harry. "I also got a new wand."

The door burst open again, and the Weasley family entered in a lively group, laden with purchases from Diagon Alley.

"Not flashing that clipping about again, are you, Ron?" one of the Weasleys teased.

"I haven't shown anyone!" Ron protested.

"No, not a soul. Unless you count Tom. The day maid. The night maid. The cook. The bloke that came to fix the toilet. That wizard from Belgium..." came the response from another.
