The boys sat perched on various furniture that was placed on the ground behind the barricade. It had started by Feuilly singing the first lines, then Jehan had followed and Joly after Jehan, when Grantaire added his thoughts.
"Drink with me to days gone by. Can it be you fear to die? Will the world remember you when you fall? Could it be your death means nothing at all? Is you life just one more lie?"
This had wound a lot of people up. Enjolras, who was at the top of the barricade, made his way down. He reached out and touched Grantaire on the shoulder, the latter jerked away from the touch and moved to sit over with Bahorel and Feuilly who gave him sympathetic looks.

Hey guys I saw Les Miserables yesterday at the Capitol Theatre and this was basically what happened during this scene, except Grantaire went over to a corner and Gavroche went to comfort him instead of Grantaire sitting with Feuilly and Bahorel.
