It surprises me how she can have these conversations with us and not get behind on her work. People keep bringing her glasses after glasses after glasses yet she keeps up with them like a pro. "It would be great if you would join!", Matthew exclaims. We talk about it more and Matthew even makes a group chat for the three of us. "You know what guys I'll send an e-mail tomorrow to the owners and I'll let you know when I have a response", Matthew declares. The conversation then changes and before we know, we've been in the bar for a couple of hours already. It's 3 a.m. when the bar starts to get less busy. The people working at the bar look like they finally get to take a breath when another big group of people leave. They start walking back and forth with dirty glasses even more and Chloë takes over the dishes again since she was in charge for collecting the glasses for the past 2 or 3 hours.
Matthew and I get out of the bar when it's almost 4 a.m. and we wait for Chloë. "You guys didn't have to wait for me", she says as she sees us standing standing there. "It's fine we don't mind", Matthew states. We escort her home since it's like a ten minute walk to make sure she's safe. "She seemed tired", Matthew says. "Yeah, I think she might have a lot more on her mind than she'll ever admit", I reply. "I hope that we can get the place, maybe it will help her be less stressed about things", he says. "Yeah I hope so too", I say.

Matthew: "Glad that you liked our attention ;)"
Chloë: "Hahahaha yes I loved it"

Chloë: "Don't know if I will be able to handle it 😵"
Chloë: "I'll get in my bed now. Goodnight guys!"
Matthew: "Hahahah goodnight!"

Monday 10.32 a.m.
Matthew: "Guys"
Matthew: "Guys!"
Matthew: "Guys great news!"
"Whats up?": Me
Matthew: "I just got off the phone with the owners of the place"
Chloë: "Really? And? What did they say?"
Matthew: "Well I explained everything and told them that we are interested and that we would like to have a tour of the place and they agreed"
Matthew: "So I hope that you're both free tomorrow because we have to be there at 4 p.m."
"That's great! I'm free, need me to pick you up?": Me
Matthew: "Would be great, if Chloë is also free we could pick her up too"
Chloë: "Yeah I should be free"
"Great I'll pick you guys up and then we can go take a look": Me
Matthew is next to me in the car when we go to pick up Chloë. She gets in the back of the car after we arrive at her place. "Your car is fixed pretty nicely", she says as she gets in. "Yeah the people that fixed it did a great job", I respond while waiting for her to put her seatbelt on. Once it's on I drive away from her apartment to the other place. Just when we get out of the car, an older couple arrives at the entrance of the building. "Ah you youngsters must be the ones that want to see the apartment", the man greets us. "Yes indeed", Matthew answers. "I assume that you are the owners of the apartment?", Matthew asks. "Yes we are, well I mean for now. Are you Matthew?", the woman asks. "Yes I am, may I ask what you mean when you say that you're the owners for now?" We're walking into the building to the elevator when the woman starts explaining. "Well we're getting older and our children are waiting until we die so that they can take everything and since we don't really need the apartment and if you're interested we can get a deal for the three of you to buy it."
By now we arrived at the front door so the man takes out a key and opens the door. They gesture for us to go inside and then follow us. The apartment is way bigger than you would expect, it has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a decent kitchen and a spacious living room. It's also filled with natural sunlight since there are a lot of big windows. There are some basic furniture pieces like a couch and the beds, nothing too extravagant. Chloë's eyes look like they will pop out of their sockets every second now. She walks from room to room and both Matthew and I follow her. They answer all our questions and explain every detail to us. After the tour we bid our goodbyes and the couple leaves again. We get in my car and look at each other. "I think we would be stupid if we don't get it", I say.
