She leaves her door open when she enters her bedroom and I can't help myself, I have to go in there with her. I watch her undress, which turns me on to be honest but she looks too tired so I'm not going to try to have my way with her tonight or should I say this morning? I wonder why she's been working at the bar so much lately, I've barely spend time with her the last couple of weeks and it kind of bothers me. I get in her bed with her and she falls asleep almost immediately. I wake up because of my alarm and Chloë is still sound asleep next to me. Just when I get out of her room, I bump into Dakota. "Why are you coming out of her room?", he asks me loudly. "Dude shut up, I'll tell you downstairs", I whisper. He checks if Owen is still okay and go downstairs. "You better start explaining yourself now", Dakota states, looking at me with crossed arms. "What does he need to explain?", Matthew joins us in the kitchen, clearly just out of bed. "I caught him coming out of Chloë her room", Dakota replies.

"Calm down it's not this big of a deal but when she came home this morning, I was trying to get Owen to go back to sleep. She must have heard him so she came into the room and asked when he last ate when I told her she got a bit mad and came downstairs to get milk for him. Then I gave the bottle and when he fell asleep she also went to her room and I joined her", I explain. "Yeah okay good story, but why did you join her?", Matthew asks. "Well uh I don't know if I should say this without her but we've been dating for more than three months now", I admit. "Wait what?", they ask at the same time. "How did we not now this? Are you guys that sneaky?", Dakota asks in disbelief. "I wouldn't say really sneaky because we were sometimes pretty obvious but you guys never seemed to notice", I reply. "Wait rewind a little, why did you say 'this morning'? How late was it then?", Matthew asks. "I think it was around 6 ish", I say. "Don't you guys thinks she's been working a little too much lately?", he looks at us with concern in his eyes. "I thought about that too last night, she fell asleep seconds after her head hit her pillow", I respond. "Something is fishy about it, but we'll have to figure it out, she'll never tell us", Dakota says.

"Good morning you guys", Chloë says when she comes downstairs. "Goodmorning angel", I say before kissing her head. "Dude please don't try to make us jealous", Matthew whines. "I uh had to tell them, Dakota caught me when I got out of your room this morning", I tell her while rubbing my neck. She looks at me for a moment with her eyes wide before she yawns and walks away. "That's great darling", she says while going to the kitchen. The guys and I look at each other in confusion, none of us expacting that kind of answer. I get an idea so I follow her to the kitchen. "Hey angel, now that they know, don't you think that we can start trying to get a kid now too?", I try to get a reaction out of her. She drops the spoon she was holding on the table and looks at me in shock. "You... want a baby? With me?", she looks confused at me while pointing at herself. "Yeah I mean why not? We have a house, we have the money and we love each other enough for it don't you think?", I push her even more. "Absolutely not!", she says, standing up abruptly. "Why not? Don't you love kids? I mean I see how you look at Owen, you almost look at him like he's your kid", I pry even more, "or am I wrong about the love part?" "You're wrong about the money part, very wrong. You're the one with the money remember, I'm drowning out here while youre floating in the sea on a yacht", she snarls.

"Chloë what does that mean?", Dakota asks her. "It means that the money that I got from Richard is gone to the debts my parents left me with that I'm trying to pay off, besides also paying for the house, my car and in addition all of our bills. Besides that, I'm the only one of us that doesn't have a full-time job. So in conclusion, I almost earn nothing compared to you guys but I pay for everything. Don't get me wrong Jake, I do love you and I know you'd pay everything for me and I'd love to have a family with you someday, but not now. If I'm pregnant after graduation, nobody is going to hire me, so I won't have the money to pay for anything anymore. And besides, I don't think I would be a good mother", she almost screams at us before running away.
