Kinn POV
Tankhun managed to take over the computer server, and we were able to extract information from the guard to know how many guards were stationed throughout the house. I have to admit that I haven't seen the serious Tankhun for a long time; he even gave us listening equipment so that we could keep in touch.
"Are you ready?" Tankhun asked.
"Can I take him down?" Pete asked about the guard coming out of the gate.
"Take him down now," Tankhun said.
Pete managed to take down the guard with one shot in a second.
"Your wife is scary," I told Vegas.
"He scares me too," Vegas said.
"Tankhun, can we come in?" Pete asked.
"Yes, our people have already entered the house," Tankhun said.
"Hia, did Chay, Prapai and Mike come home?"
"Yeah. Kim texted me just now; they are safe," Tankhun said.
"You!" One guard shouted, but in a second, Pete managed to throw and swing a knife at him, hitting him in the middle of his forehead.
"Don't fight him," I told Vegas.
"You don't have to tell me that," Vegas swallowed hard.
"I still don't understand why you send people to guard him everywhere." It looks like Pete is managing on his own.
"Mostly it's to keep people away from him," Vegas explained.
"Are you going to help?" Pete asked us.
"We didn't want to bother you," Vegas explained.
"Our guards were able to take control of the west and east sides of the house. It seems Ling has Porsche in the basement," Tankhun said.
"Thanks, Hia."
"Be alert, there's a possibility they know we're here," Tankhun said.
Suddenly, a voice came over the microphone on the house.
"I always knew you were smart, Tankhun. That's what my brother liked about you."
"Ling?" I asked.
"Kinn, is that how you say hello?" Ling asked.
"Where's Porsche?" I asked firmly.
"You're welcome downstairs," Ling said. "Don't worry, I promised my wife I wouldn't hurt you."
"Ling, be careful with your words," I warned him.
"Why? He's already marked by me."
"Kinn, keep calm," Vegas tried to reassure me.
We went downstairs and stood at the door that separated me from Porsche.
"Kinn, take a breath," Pete said.
We entered a dark room with some dim lights on. Ling's men were scattered all over the huge room, holding weapons. Ling stood in the middle of the room next to another man with a swollen face, who was lying on the floor, unconscious, and naked. And behind him was a huge screen.
"Kinn, long time no see," Ling said.
"Where's Porsche?"
"Hahahahaha, why don't you recognize Porsche?" Ling laughed his evil laugh.
"Porsche?" I looked at the man lying there. His face was unrecognizable; I thought maybe it was one of our people who had been captured. So many emotions arose in me. I was happy to see his face, but finding out he was injured hurt me. It hurt me that I was not able to protect him as I promised.
