Kinn's POV - (Past Day)

Why do I need to recover? It's hard for me, it's hard to live like this. It's been almost three years, and it's getting more painful. I can't breathe. I want to see Porsche; what must I do to see him? I can't even dream of him, no matter how much I try... Porsche, maybe I'll see you today?

Knocking

"Hey, Mr. Kinn," said the nurse. "I'm just here to give you a morphine injection to reduce the pain."

"Hmm."

"The physical therapist will be late today," the nurse explained, placing the morphine bottle on the table and tossing the injection into the trash.

But I no longer responded to her, and she left the room. I saw the morphine bottle on the table... That small bottle is all that stands between me and Porsche... I can leave... My family has already managed to get back on their feet; I trust them to protect Chay and Jin. I lifted myself off the bed, dragging my body as I tried to get closer to the table. "Ahhh," this movement hurts so much. I reached for the bottle and took it, along with the injection from the trash.

"Porsche, I miss you... We'll meet today..."

My body collapsed onto the cold floor... My pupils contracted, the bright room turned black, and the pain disappeared... I no longer felt any physical pain, and I couldn't think anymore. My mind slowly emptied... "Porsche, see you soon..."

None POV

Kinn's eyes darkened as two tears escaped from them, his body no longer moved, his breathing slowed, and his heart gradually stopped. The monitor began to beep, and the graph flattened.

The doctor and nurses rushed into the room. "Call Mr. Vegas and Mr. Tankhun!"

"I'll call!" said one of the nurses as she exited the room.

"Turn him over!" shouted the doctor.

The doctor noticed the syringe and yelled, "It's an overdose! Administer Naloxone!"

The doctor took a deep breath and gently inserted the tube through Kinn's mouth, ensuring it carefully entered his trachea. "Bring the defibrillator!"

"Administer Naloxone again!" the doctor shouted.

"What's happening here?!" Tankhun shouted as he entered the room, followed closely by Vegas, who grabbed him.

"You should wait outside so the doctor can focus!"

"Tankhun, let's stay outside!" Vegas said, pulling Tankhun after him.

The doctors continued working on resuscitating Kinn for about 19 minutes.

"We need to stop," said the nurse.

"It's not happening!" the doctor yelled.

Beep, beep, beep—the monitor graph began to produce small waves.

"We have a pulse!" the nurse shouted.

"Let's lift him slowly back onto the bed... Call Mr. Tankhun and Mr. Vegas."

Kinn's POV

I woke up to Tankhun's shouting. "Kinn! How could you do something like this?"

"Tankhun, stop! He just woke up," Vegas yelled.

"Why did you do this?" Tankhun cried, "Do you know what you've done to all of us?"
