(Violet Summer De Leon POV)

The office was a well-oiled machine of activity, with employees bustling about and phones ringing off the hook. My desk was a small oasis of order amidst the chaos, where I managed the day-to-day affairs of the company. As Maloi Ricalde's secretary, I had always admired her from a distance—her confidence, her power, and the way she commanded respect with just a glance.

But it wasn't just admiration. There was something else—something deeper, more intense. Something that neither of us had spoken aloud but that lingered between us like a well-kept secret.

It was late afternoon when Maloi's office door swung open, and she strode out, her heels clicking decisively on the polished floor. She glanced over at me, her eyes narrowing in a way that sent a shiver down my spine.

"Violet," she said, her voice carrying an edge of authority. "Can you come into my office for a moment?"

My heart skipped a beat. I followed her into her office, the door closing behind us with a soft click. The room was dimly lit, with the city skyline visible through the large windows. Maloi stood by her desk, her back to me, her posture commanding.

"Sit," she ordered, her tone brooking no argument.

I sat down in the chair opposite her desk, trying to keep my breathing steady. Maloi turned to face me, her gaze intense. "We need to talk."

My stomach fluttered with anticipation. "About what, Maloi?"

She walked around her desk and leaned against it, crossing her arms over her chest. "About us."

The words hung in the air, and I felt a rush of heat to my cheeks. "What do you mean?"

Maloi's eyes locked onto mine, her expression a mixture of frustration and longing. "We can't keep doing this, Violet. This... secret between us. It's driving me crazy."

My heart raced, a mix of fear and excitement swirling inside me. "I know. But... what are we going to do?"

She moved closer, her hand reaching out to brush a strand of hair from my face. The touch was electric, sending a jolt through me. "I want you," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I want you more than anything."

Before I could respond, Maloi closed the distance between us, her lips crashing onto mine with a fervor that left me breathless. The kiss was a fierce, passionate declaration of everything we had kept hidden. I responded with equal intensity, my hands finding their way to her waist, pulling her closer.

We stumbled back towards the desk, our bodies pressed together as we kissed with abandon. Maloi's hands roamed over my back, igniting every nerve in my body. The world outside ceased to exist, our only focus on the connection between us.

When we finally pulled apart, both of us were panting, our foreheads resting together. Maloi's eyes were dark with desire, and I saw a vulnerability in her that she rarely showed.

"I want to be with you," she murmured, her voice husky. "I want us to be out in the open."

I nodded, my heart pounding with a mix of hope and fear. "I want that too, Maloi. But... what if it affects your position? What if people find out?"

Maloi's expression softened, and she cupped my face in her hands. "We'll figure it out. Together. I don't want to hide anymore. I want everyone to know that you're mine."

Her words filled me with a warmth I hadn't felt in a long time. I nodded, a smile spreading across my lips. "Okay. Let's do it."

Maloi's lips curled into a smile, and she leaned in for another kiss, this one slow and tender. The passion from before had transformed into something deeper, more profound. We stood there, lost in each other, the world outside forgotten.

As we finally parted, Maloi took my hand in hers, her grip firm and reassuring. "Let's go home," she said softly. "Together."

I nodded, feeling a sense of exhilaration and anticipation. With Maloi by my side, I knew that we could face anything. Our secret was no longer a burden but a promise of something beautiful and real.

And as we left the office, hand in hand, I felt a sense of freedom and hope that we could build a future together—one where our love was no longer hidden but celebrated.
