It was a quiet, cozy evening in their shared apartment. Maloi lay sprawled across her bed, the soft notes of calming music filling the room. Her glasses rested comfortably on the bridge of her nose, and her sketchbook sat open on her lap, pages filled with rough drawings and quick sketches. Dressed in her girlfriend's oversized shirt and a pair of pajama shorts, she felt at ease. There was something comforting about wearing Aiah's clothes, as though the soft fabric carried a piece of her girlfriend with it, even when she wasn't around.

Maloi glanced at the clock on the bedside table—it was just past 8 PM. She smiled to herself, counting down the seconds in her head, knowing exactly what was about to happen.

"Three... two... one," she whispered softly to herself.

Right on cue, the door to their bedroom creaked open, and in walked Aiah, looking every bit as striking as she always did in her biker gear. She wore a black leather jacket and sleek boots, the tough exterior contrasting with the soft, loving expression that always crossed her face when she saw Maloi. Her helmet dangled from her hand, and after closing the door behind her, she set it gently on the desk with a sigh.

Maloi's heart warmed at the sight of her girlfriend, her tough exterior only masking the tenderness that Maloi knew was reserved solely for her. "How was the ride?" she asked softly, her eyes never leaving Aiah as she lay her sketchbook aside.

Aiah let out a deep, tired sigh as she crossed the room. "Exhausting. The roads were packed, and some guy almost hit me," she mumbled, her voice laced with frustration. But the moment she reached the bed and saw Maloi's soft smile, the tension in her shoulders seemed to melt away.

Without another word, Aiah climbed onto the bed, sprawling out on top of Maloi with her full weight, as though she had no strength left to hold herself up. She nestled her head between Maloi's legs, resting her cheek on Maloi's left thigh. A small, contented sigh escaped her as she closed her eyes, feeling the comfort of being so close to her girlfriend after a long day.

Maloi couldn't help but chuckle softly, finding Aiah's complete surrender to her comforting. "Tough day, huh?" she teased gently, her fingers already working their way to Aiah's hair. With practiced ease, she tugged at the messy bun that held her girlfriend's long hair up, letting the strands fall loose. Once Aiah's hair was freed, Maloi ran her fingers through it, gently massaging her scalp in the way she knew Aiah loved.

Aiah groaned in appreciation, snuggling even closer, pressing her face against Maloi's thigh as if she could bury herself in the warmth of her girlfriend. "You have no idea," Aiah murmured, her voice muffled. "But this... this is what I needed."

Maloi smiled warmly, continuing to stroke Aiah's hair as the music played softly in the background. "I figured," she whispered, her heart swelling with affection for the woman lying across her. Even though Aiah was known for her tough, confident demeanor, Maloi knew her better than anyone. Beneath the leather and the sharp attitude was a girl who craved softness, who needed moments like these to unwind.

The room was quiet for a few moments, the only sound being the soft rustling of the bed as Aiah shifted slightly, getting more comfortable. Maloi's fingers never stopped their gentle caress, knowing how much Aiah loved it when she played with her hair. It was moments like these that reminded Maloi just how much she loved the balance they had. Aiah, always the bold, daring one, relied on her for comfort. And Maloi, the calm, nurturing presence, found a strange satisfaction in being the one Aiah turned to when the world got too overwhelming.

"You smell good," Aiah mumbled suddenly, her voice filled with the drowsy warmth that came from being so close to the person she loved. She nuzzled her face deeper into Maloi's thigh, breathing in the familiar scent of her girlfriend. "And I like this shirt on you... though, I think it looks better on me."

Maloi laughed softly at that. "It's your shirt, babe. I'll give it back if you want," she teased, though she had no intention of doing so. Aiah's clothes had become her comfort items, the oversized fit making her feel wrapped in her girlfriend's embrace even when she wasn't around.

Aiah shook her head, her cheek still pressed against Maloi's thigh. "Nah, keep it. Looks way cuter on you." Her voice was soft, but the teasing edge was still there. "Besides, I like seeing you in my clothes. It reminds me you're mine."

Maloi felt a familiar warmth spread through her chest at Aiah's words. There was something about the possessiveness in her voice, the way she claimed her so effortlessly, that always made Maloi's heart skip a beat. Even after all this time together, Aiah still had that effect on her.

"Well, I'm all yours," Maloi whispered, leaning down slightly to press a gentle kiss to the top of Aiah's head. "Always."

Aiah's response was a contented hum, and she shifted once more, this time wrapping her arms around Maloi's waist as she settled even further into her. The weight of her body pressed into Maloi's, grounding her, making her feel safe and loved. There was no need for grand gestures or elaborate words between them. This quiet intimacy was enough, the silent promise of their love spoken in every touch, every breath they shared.

For a while, they stayed like that—Aiah curled up against Maloi, and Maloi gently stroking her hair, the room bathed in the soft glow of the bedside lamp. The world outside their little bubble didn't matter. It was just the two of them, wrapped up in each other, in the quiet comfort that came with being so deeply in love.

As Aiah's breathing slowed, indicating she was on the verge of falling asleep, Maloi smiled down at her. "You know, I could get used to this," she whispered softly, her voice barely audible over the music. "You coming home all tired and grumpy, and me taking care of you."

Aiah's lips twitched into a small smile, though her eyes remained closed. "I'm already used to it," she mumbled sleepily. "You're my home, Maloi."

Maloi's heart skipped a beat at the simplicity and truth of those words. She didn't need to say anything in return. She just kept running her fingers through Aiah's hair, her heart full of love for the woman in her arms.

In that moment, nothing else mattered. They had each other, and that was more than enough.

And as the night deepened, Maloi felt a sense of peace wash over her, knowing that no matter how chaotic the world outside got, they would always have this—each other.
