1st of February
It had been a 3 weeks since I told Luke I wanted to explore things with him and I haven't ever been happier.
We had gone for walks, coffee, I even forced him to come to the mall with me which he hated of course, but I gave him my best puppy dog eyes and he caved. Naturally.
I felt weirdly content when I was around him.
Even though we were 'exploring' things he never wanted more than what I was offering.
"Alright babe I'm gonna go to bed now okay? You all good?" Lola broke me out of my day dream.
"Night girl - yes thanks. love you" she blew me kisses as she was walking up the stairs.
I was alone.
Apart from the buzzing of the refrigerator and the soft sound of laughing outside I was alone.
Alone with my thoughts.
My chest tightened.

No
Not today no thank you.
My heart pumped and breathing rapidly increased.
Shit
What was I going to do.
