Peeling my eyes open, I couldn't help but smile at Luke, who was asleep next to me.
My hands ran across my neck, bruises had formed and my wrists were red.
A silent tear ran down my face, which was already puffy from all the weeping I did last night.
Luke groaned and sat up and I wiped my tears away quickly, wrapping my arms around my knees. "Morning" I said softly, feeling hot under his gaze. "Morning - how are you" Luke asked cautiously eyes scanning my wet face.
"I'm okay" giving him the best fake smile I could.
I leant against him, and we melted into each other, he had a firm hold around me, as though he never wanted to let me go.
He stroked my head and his hand travelled down to my neck and I winced loudly. Slapping a hand over my mouth, I looked up at him, Luke had a concerned look. Biting his lip.
"Baby I hate to do this - but we need to take photos of it. If we ever need evidence" his Adam's apple bobbed.
I replied with a nod.
Reuben - I knew his name was Reuben - nervously stepped into Luke's room who was stood protectively in front of me.
"Okay so I called my mom - she said we need photos of all the, inflamed or bruised areas. So do you want to go in the bathroom?" He asked me and Luke.
The en-suite door shut behind us.
"Beautiful I don't want to make you uncomfortable at all" Luke said when I handed him the phone.
I shook my head "it's fine, I just want to get this over with."
Holding back tears as Luke took the photos, I couldn't comprehend that this had happened to me. My heart ached.
"Okay all done" Luke announced softly, planting a kiss on my head.
I fell back Into him, letting him take my entire weight.
"ssssh it's okay" Luke handed Reuben his phone back, who left, and then placed me onto his bed and my eyes shut, letting myself give in to the darkness of sleep.

After a 3 hour nap I was feeling a lot better. Luke had called Lola, who bought me round some clothes that would cover my arms and neck, which I already had a lot off.
Lola knocked on Luke's door, who stepped outside to give us some privacy.
She burst into tears and I wrapped my arms around her, yet she still weeped into my arms.
"E- Eleanor" she sniffled "I am so sorry - Luke told me what happened and I shouldn't have left you it's all my fault" she cried.
"Lola Pearce! You are the best, best friend I could ever ask for - this wasn't your fault - it's Dylan's - okay?" She wiped her nose on her sleeve.
"Okay babe - I am so so sorry" we hugged, she soon left as she had a job interview in the mall.
Luke shuffled back into her room. "So - what do you wanna do?" He asked looking me up and down inspecting my outfit. I laughed when he smiled.
"Let's go on a coffee run" I gave him a weak smile, and he placed his large hand on my lower back, guiding me out of his room.
The barista yawned and re adjusted her septum piercing "what do you want?" She drawled and I held back a laugh at Luke's annoyed expression.
"We will have one vanilla latte andddd" I turned to Luke who whispered in my ear "hot chocolate"
I giggled "and a hot chocolate" the barista raised an eyebrow at Luke but rolled her eyes and plugged our order in.
Luke once again looked uncomfortable in the tiny seat opposite the booth, but he refused to let me sit there. Luke walker always followed the booth rule.
He cleared his throat and his face went red.
"Beautiful - we need to tell Jacob - I say message him, tell him that way so he can cool off, and then go home tonight." He was right of course. God he knew my brother well. He was his best friend to start off with.
A pang of guilt ran through me as I sipped my vanilla latte.
ME - hey Jacob, basically - idk how to say this but I'm fine now - luke looked after me so. Dylan, Luke's cousin kissed and touched me without my permission but it's okay! Because Luke and Benji found us and saved me. I'll be back tonight :)

Before I could reply Luke's phone rang. It as Jacob.
"Yep she's fine"
"I looked after her"
"Of course I beat the shit out of him"
"No she won't go to the police"
"I know I know"
"It's not your fault bro"
"Don't feel guilty"
"Okay talk later - bye"
Unable to hear Jacob's voice, I only heard Luke's responses.

Lola opened the door just as I put my hand on the door knob.
She gave me a small smile before placing a kiss on my cheek.
I looked round her for Jacob who was sat in the living room.
"Hey" I said softly.
He smiles "hey Eleanor."
Jacob sighed "I don't want to interrogate you or anything but I just want to say - I'm here for you and I'm so so sorry I wasn't there" I could of sworn his voice cracked at the end.
"It's not your fault - if you were there, Luke probably wouldn't have come after me because he knew you would be aware." I tried to spin the situation.
Jacob gave me a weak smile before talking discreetly to Luke in the kitchen.
"Ugh babe I can't believe it's April!" Lola groaned throwing herself onto the couch. I laughed at her. I was happy to be home. I had only been away for a night but a lot had changed.
