Chelsea Lawson returned to Genoa City in the middle of the night. The former con artist grinned as she slipped onto Victor's property. She was going to grab some clothes for Connor before taking him on the run with her. Chelsea walked up to the Tack House, where she knew Adam was staying. Picking the lock on the front door, she slowly entered the house. Looking around the house, she noticed that some things had changed since the last time she had been here. There was different furniture and more things lying around. As she creeped up the stairs a thought crossed her mind. 'That bastard. He moved his slut girlfriend in Chelsea fumed as the realization hit her. She needed to focus, she scolded herself as the anger slowly subdued. Her petty jealousy couldn't distract her from her end goal of being united with her son.
Wandering upstairs she was on her way to Connor's room; she noticed an open bedroom door and couldn't stop herself from entering. There was a crib and other baby furniture. How could she have forgotten that the slut was pregnant. Curiosity overwhelmed her and she snuck into Adam's future child's room; she had to know if her son was getting a brother or a sister. Pulling out her flashlight, Chelsea was overwhelmed by purple.
A girl! Adam was going to have a little girl and not with her. Chelsea was fuming; she had always wanted a daughter and she knew that deep down Adam did too. Her mind wandered to a long-ago memory, way back before her and Adam's lives literally blew up. Back when they were a happily married couple looking forward to their future, a future that included more children.
"Thank you kind sir" Chelsea thanked her husband for refilling her glass of wine.
"You're welcome." Adam kissed her cheek as he joined her on the couch. "What should we toast to? Our good looks? Our careers? Ladies's choice."
"To all of the above and our family, especially our son. Chelsea raised her glass before slipping out a thought that she had been mulling over the past few days. "And our future children." She clinked a stunned Adam's glass before taking a large sip of the wine.
"You want more kids?" Adam asked. The topic of conversation threw him for a loop.
"You don't?" Chelsea questioned growing nervous about his response.
"You didn't answer my question." Adam deflected. Chelsea just narrowed her eyes, apparently she wasn't going to answer until he did. "I'd love to have more kids. Growing up I always wanted siblings." He sighed, "And then I met mine and I wished I was an only child again."
They both chuckled, "But you'd really love having more kids?" Chelsea timidly asked.
"Yes, I'd really love having more kids." They both leaned forward for a passionate kiss. "I didn't think that you wanted more."
"Really? What gave you that impression?"
"With all of the chaos of the last few years, you building up your career, and dealing with Victor. It just seemed like you were content with things as is. And you've never once mentioned the idea, so I just assumed you were done."
"Well you assumed wrong." Chelsea playfully poked him in the chest. "I want Connor to have siblings, something I didn't have." The Johnny secret was hanging in the air over both of them, but they never broached it.
"I can picture it," Adam said. "Connor and his little sibling causing trouble, running Newman, no not Newman the world."
Chelsea got a huge grin on her face. She was envisioning the picture Adam was painting. "Let me guess, the next generation of Newman brothers? Connor and his little brother wrecking shop, taking no prisoners?"
To her surprise Adam shook his head. "Connor and his little sister."
Chelsea was shocked, "You want a girl?"
