Sally slowly regained consciousness; her head was pounding and her eyes felt heavy. Wincing as she blinked, her surroundings gradually came into focus. She appeared to be in a bedroom with wooden panels for walls. Nothing looked familiar. She looked around for her phone or purse, finding neither.

"Where am I?" She asked out loud. She groaned as she got off the bed. "We have to get out jelly bean." Her baby girl kicked in her stomach as a sign of moral support or to show she was there, Sally wasn't sure. Sally tried to open the front door, but it was locked. Starting to get panicked, she looked around the room for another exit.

"Aha, the window!" Sally exclaimed, walking over as quickly as she could. The window wouldn't budge. Her eyes scanned the room looking for an object to smash them, but she couldn't seem to find anything. Letting out a frustrated sigh, she actually took the time to look out the window. The only thing she could see was trees. Wherever she was, she clearly wasn't getting out on her own.

The levels of panic were rising. Sally moved back over to the bed to sit and think. There had to be some way out of here. Adam would realize she was missing. Taking her hostage clearly wasn't part of Chelsea's plan, so there was no time to create a cover up. She just had to pray that Chelsea didn't take her too far out of town. Speaking of Chelsea, where was her happy hostess? She couldn't wait to get her hands on that psychotic bitch. Still sore and exhausted, Sally laid back down on the bed. She needed to preserve her strength. Thinking of exit strategies, she fell back asleep. Hopefully by the time she woke up, she'd have some answers.

Sally woke up to see Chelsea pointing a gun straight at her face. The wild look in Chelsea's eyes scared the expectant mother to her core.

"Good afternoon, Sunshine!" Chelsea sang like she didn't have a care in the world. "I've been waiting forever for you to wake up. We need to chat. Girl to girl."

"About what?" Sally asked once she found her voice.

"About your stay here." Chelsea answered. "Your temporary stay." The carefree tone dropping out of her voice. Sally was once again reminded of Chelsea's threat that once she gave birth, the con would kill her. The scariest part was that she believed every word out of Chelsea's mouth.

"I hope you enjoy your stay, but don't get too comfortable."

"Because you're going to kill me." Sally numbly replied. "What's your master plan? You really think Adam's not going to be looking for me? Especially since I'm carrying his long-awaited daughter." Chelsea's eyes widened with shock and Sally quickly realized that Chelsea hadn't thought that far ahead. "What's the matter, cat got your tongue?"

"Shut up bitch." Chelsea snapped, pistol whipping Sally. The redhead grabbed her now bleeding cheek in pain. "Open your mouth like that again and you'll be begging for me to kill you. Now say you're sorry."

Sally was staring down the butt of the gun. She gulped in fear for her daughter's safety, swallowed the bile that rose and apologized. "I'm sorry Chelsea. Truly."

Chelsea smiled in satisfaction; she'd been waiting for months for this moment. "That's better. Now, like I said, I'm keeping you alive until you give birth to Chloe." She got off the bed and started pacing around the room.

Sally froze, "Chloe? Who's Chloe?" Chelsea just gave her a knowing look. A look of realization dawned on Sally's face. "You named my baby Chloe? In what universe would Adam ever want his daughter named after the woman who ran him over and blew him up?"

"Adam will be so happy to have his daughter back, he won't care what her name is." Chelsea shrugged. "He'll be so grateful to me for bringing her home and telling him all about how you left him because you couldn't deal with motherhood. So grateful that he won't object to me naming our daughter after my beloved late friend."

Sally shook her head in horror. "You are absolutely deranged and pathetic." She spat; her voice filled with pure venom. "Adam will never believe you. He loves me and the life we're building together. He wants to marry me." She threw up her left hand only to find her ring finger bare. She stared at her empty hand. "Where is my ring?"

Chelsea faked confusion. "What ring? I don't know what you're talking about." She slowly lifted her left hand up to her chin tapping her fingers against her chin. Sally's engagement ring shining in plain view. "Oh, you mean this ring? Adam had to believe that you were done with him. And what's more proof than giving back the ring?"

"You psychotic bitch! I'm going to kill you!" Sally struggled to get off the bed with her bump slowing her down. It didn't help that the mattress was sunken in and worn out.

"I wish you luck." Chelsea chuckled. "Now eat up, my daughter needs her nutrients." She slammed the door shut just as Sally got off the bed. She ran to try to catch her captor but the con was too quick. The door was locked from the outside.

"Chelsea! Chelsea! Let me out!" Sally banged on the door in desperate frustration. Tears were now freely flowing down her face. The reality of the situation she was forced into was hitting her full steam. She hugged her bump and sobbed.
