─── ୭🧷✧˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀 UPTOWN GIRL BLASTED FROM THE SPEAKERS OF THE IMPALA. Evangeline moved her head to the beat, singing along with a smile on her face.
Her eyes peered at Dean, who was fighting a smile on his face “You're horrible at singing” he chimed.
Evangeline smiled brighter “well you look ridiculous” she nodded to the tacky, fake mechanic suit he was wearing.
“You and Sam are wearing the same thing as me,” he pointed out.
“Yeah but we look good”.
Sam let out a huff of amusement.
It had been about a week since their last hunt, and Evangeline already felt lighter. Though she doubted it would be for long.
Finally, the impala came to a stop. Dean parked on the curb of a busy street. The Billy Joel song she had put on came to a stop, and Evangeline lightly wondered how long it would be until she could choose another song to play.
It had already taken a lot of convincing (though Dean called it whining), but she had finally gotten to choose a song to play.
Dean was the first to swing his door open, Evangeline followed in suit and then Sam.
“I got to say dad and I did just fine on hunts without these ridiculous costumes” the older Winchester muttered rather bitterly.
Sam caught her eye, mouthing “dramatic”.
Evangeline giggled silently.
“I feel like one of those drama nerd geeks” he scrunched his nose. “What was that play you did?” he glanced at his brother.
“You were a theater kid” Evangeline raised a brow.
A rosey red painted Sam's cheeks “it was one play” he muttered embarrassingly.
“Our town, that's what it was” Dean smiled “it was cute. You were good” he teased.
“You wanna pull this off or not” Sam inquired.
“I'm just saying these outfits cost hard earned money”.
“Hard earned” Evangeline raised a brow.
“Yes” Dean beamed “You guys think credit card fraud is easy”.
Evangeline and Sam rolled their eyes in sync.
