Chapter Four

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
The Holidays finally came around and both Draco and I were going home for the Holidays and after packing what I needed and making sure that I had everything before I walked out of my dorm and walked up to him, “are you ready to go?” he said to me and I nodded and the both of us left the Common Room and made our way to the train. By the time the both of us had gotten on the train, both Draco and I had found a place to sit along with Crabbe and Goyal and the four of us talked throughout the entire train ride to London and by the time we had gotten there, the four of us got off the train and onto the platform, “have a good christmas.” I said to Draco, “you too. I’ll see you when we come back.” He said to me and the both of us hugged each other before I eventually walked away and found Esme and Carlisle and walked up to the both of them, “do you have everything?” Esme asked me and I nodded before the three of us left the station and made our way home. By the time I made it home with Carlisle and Esme, I had gone to my room to put my stuff away before I walked into the living room and saw everyone sitting and talking with each other and I went to sit down with Emmett on the couch as he played a video game and I decided to tease him a little and covered his eyes and he tried to see the T.V before he lost, “you’re a real minx aren’t you.” he said to me and I just smiled before I ran off and noticed him following not far behind me before we ended up outside before he eventually caught me and I laughed a little as I tried getting away before he put me over his shoulder and went back to the house, “Emmett, put her down.” I heard Rose say to him before he put me onto the couch and started tickling me causing me to laugh more until he finally stopped and I calmed down a little and we all spent the rest of the night talking about everything before I had gotten tired and fell asleep on Emmett. After a while, I felt someone pick me up and I slowly opened my eyes and saw that it was Emmett as he carried me to my room before he set me down on the bed and put the covers over me, “goodnight.” I said to him, “goodnight, see you in the morning.” he said to me before I fell back asleep that night. Christmas Morning finally came around and I eventually woken up and rushed out of the room and made it downstairs to see that everyone was already down there and they noticed me standing there and we all sat in the living room throughout most of the morning and opened presents that we had gotten for each other. After a while, I had gotten changed for the day and most of us were planning on going hunting later that night. When the time came around, myself along with Edward, Carlisle, Jasper and Emmett and the other’s had left the house and went hunting in the woods nearby. After a while, we all made it back to the House and we all did our own thing for the rest of the night and I spent most of my time with Rose and Alice before I had gotten tired and eventually went to bed for the night.

After the Holidays were over, myself along with everyone else who had gone home for the Holidays made it back to the Castle and by the time we had gotten there, both Draco and I had gotten back to the Common Room for the time being and after putting my stuff away, I went back into the Common Room with Draco and others for a while before we all had gone to the Great Hall for dinner that night along with everyone else and I spent the entire time talking with Draco and the other’s before dinner was over and w all made it back to the Common Room for the night and by the time we did, I continued to spend time with Draco for a while before it had gotten late and the both of us decided to go to bed for the night. It was the next day and I was in the Library doing some homework before I noticed Harry and Ron sitting down next to me, “hey, how was your Holiday?” I asked them, “it was good. The both of us stayed here for Christmas.” Harry said to me, “how come neither of you went home for Christmas?” I asked them, “my parents went to visit my brother Charlie in Romania.” Ron said to me, “I didn’t want to go home to be honest. My Aunt and Uncle aren’t exactly nice I suppose.” Harry said to me, “oh, I’m sorry.” I said to Harry, “it’s alright.” he said to me before hearing Hermione  speak up, “I had you looking in the wrong section. How could I be so stupid.” she said before she slammed a book in front of us, “I checked this out weeks ago for a bit of light reading.” she said to us, “this is light?” Ron questioned, “what are you on about?” I asked her, “Of course, here it is. Nichlas Flamel is the only know maker of the Philosopher Stone.” Hermione said to us, “the what?” Both Ron and Harry questioned, “Have you ever heard of books?” I said to them before Hermione continued, “the Philosopher Stone is a legendary substance with astonishing Powers. It’ll transform any metal into pure gold and produce the elixir of life which will make the drinker Immortal.” She read out to us, “Immortal?” Ron questioned, “it means you’ll never die.” Hermione said to him, “I know what it means.” He said to her, “shh.'' Both Harry and I said to him before she continued, “the only stone currently in existence belongs to Mr. Nicholas Flamel. the noted Alchemist, who last year celebrated his 665th birthday. That’s what Fluffy is guarding on the third floor. That’s what is under the trapped door. The Philosopher Stone.” she told us, “then what are we going to do? We can’t just go running around asking questions about it. There’s a reason why they’re keeping it a secret to begin with though.” I said to them, “we go and ask Hagrid. Tonight.” Harry said to us, “you mean, I’m coming with you?” I asked them, “of course you are. You seemed like you were willing to help.” Hermione said to me, “then where do I meet you guys?” I asked her, “Wait outside your Common Room and we’ll come to you there.” she said to me and I nodded as the four of us continued to talk about it.

After a while, I left the Library and made my way to the Common Room for the time being and thought about what we were talking about earlier as I put my stuff away and after doing so, I sat in the Common Room for a while and noticed Draco sit down next to me, “where have you been?” he asked me, “in the Library doing work. why?” I said to him, “nothing, I was just wondering.” he said to me and the both of us continued to talk and hang out for a while and it started to get late and everyone started going to bed for the night and I stayed in the Common Room and once I saw that everyone was gone, I walked to the door and opened it and snuck out of the Common Room. After a few moments of waiting, I began to hear something but didn’t see anything before I realized that it was Harry, Ron and Hermione, “how can I not be able to see you?” I asked them before they removed whatever it was that made them invisible, “how did you know we were here?” Hermione asked me, “long story and besides, you guys aren’t exactly the sneaking type.” I said to her before they covered me with something before we made our way out of the Castle. By the time we made it outside, we had taken the cloak off of us and we rushed Hagrid’s and By the time we made it to Hagrid’s we knocked on the door and we waited for a short while before Hagrid opened the door and saw us before he spoke up, “oh hello. Sorry, I don’t wish to be rude but I’m in no fit state to entertain today.” he said to us, “we know about the Philosopher Stone.” we said to him before he could close the door before he opened it back up again, “oh.” he said before we all walked inside, “we think Snape’s trying to steal it.” Harry said to him, “You think it’s him, not me.” I said to him, “Snape? Blimey you’re not still on about him are you?” Hagrid asked, “Hagrid, we know he’s after the stone, we just don’t know why.” Harry said to Hagrid, “What proof do you have, Harry? Nothing we know so far points to him to begin with.” I said to him, “Rosella is right. Besides, Snape’s one of the teacher’s protecting the stone. He’s not about to steal it.” Hagrid told him, “what?” Harry asked, “you heard. Right, come on now, I’m a bit preoccupied today.” Hagrid said, “wait a minute, one of the teachers?” Harry asked, “I’m sure every teacher in the school knows about it if you think about it.” I said to him, “of course, there are other things defending the Stone aren’t there? Spells, Enchantments.” Hermione said, “that’s right. Waste of bloody time if you ask me. Ain’t no one going to get passed Fluffy. Ain’t a soul knows how. Except for me and Dumbledore. I shouldn’t have told you that.” Hagrid said to us, “you’re not exactly the keeper of secrets are you.” I said to him before we began to hear something rattling in the cauldron over the fire before Hagrid took it out and set it on the table and we all gathered around it, “um, Hagrid what exactly is that?” Harry asked him, “Well that, it’s um.” Hagrid began to say before Ron spoke up, “I know what that is. But Hagrid, how did you get one?” he said, “I won it off a stranger I met down at the Pub. seemed quite glad to be rid of it as a matter of fact.” Hagrid said to us as the egg was shaking and began to Hatch. After the egg had hatched, I noticed that I never thought was real or I would think I'd ever see in my life.
