Chapter Fifty Nine

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
After watching what had happened, I froze for a moment before hearing everyone else leaving, “what now?” I asked Harry, “I’ll go after Snape. Go find someone and tell them what happened.” he said to me before the both of us made our way down the stairs before the both of us had gone separate ways and  had gone looking for Professor McGonagall before I found her walking around the halls, “Rosella dear, what’s wrong.” she asked me, “it’s Dumbledore. Something’s happened.” I said to her before the both of us rushed to where his body should be. By the time we had gotten there, people were already surrounding his body causing Professor McGonagall to gasp once she saw it before she looked at me, “what happened?” she asked, “it was Snape. He killed him, he used the Killing Curse on Dumbledore, I swear to you on my mothers Grave I’m telling the truth. He wasn’t the only one there though. Death Eaters managed to get through, one of them being Bellatrix Lestrange.” I told her as I tried my best to explain everything before seeing more people walk over. After some time had passed, Harry eventually walked through the crowd and walked over to Dumbledore before kneeling in front of his body before Ginny went over to him and began to comfort him and a few moments later, I noticed Professor McGoagall raised her wand and I thought about doing the same thing before finally deciding to join her and raised my wand and everyone else began to do the same thing. After some time had passed, the teachers started getting everyone to go back inside and I walked up to Harry, “Harry, let’s go. Let's get back inside alright.” I said to him and it took him a moment before he finally stood up, “will you and the others stay with him?” I asked Ginny and she nodded, “we’ll make sure he’s alright.” she said and I nodded, “ok, good. I’ll probably come by to see how he’s doing. I’d want to make sure he’s doing alright.” I said to him, “alright.” she said before she walked away with Harry and I sighed a little, “are you going to be alright dear?” Professor McGonagall asked me, “I don’t know. Do you mind if I go into the forest?” I said to her, “do you need to feed?” she asked, “yeah, it’s been a while.” I said to her, “alright, do what you have to, dear.” she said before I sped off and ran through the forest. After a while had passed, I made it back to the Castle and made my way inside before making my way to the Common Room and by the time I had gotten there, I noticed the entire room went quiet as I made my way to Draco’s dorm and once I got there and walked inside, I just sat on the bed thinking to myself about everything before I ended up crying myself to sleep that night. When the next day came around, I went looking for Harry to see how he was doing before  finally bumped into him, “hy, I was looking for you. I wanted to see how you are doing.” I said to him, “I’m alright for now.” he said to me and the both of us walked together and talked before Hermione and Ron came up to us.

The four of us ended up at the Astronomy Tower and I sat next to Ron while Hermione and Harry stood next to each other, “do you think he would have done it, Draco?” Hermione asked, “no, he was lowering his wand. In the end it was Snape.” Harry told her, “they threatened him to do it to begin with. He didn't have much of a choice.” I told her, “it was always Snape and we did nothing.” Harry mentioned, “what could we have done? We couldn’t do anything.” I told him before he gave the Locket to Hermione, “it’s fake. Open it.” he told Hrmione and she had done so and opened the Locket and took something out before she began to read it, “to the Dark Lord. I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can.I face death in the hope that when you meet your match you’ll be mortal once more. R.A.B. R.A.B?” Hermione said as she looked at Harry, “don’t know. But whoever they are, they have the real Horcrux. Which means it was all a waste.” Harry said, “considering that they mentioned that they were facing death, who knows if they're still alive. But they're our only lead for the time being.” I said to them before Hermone started talking about something else, “Ron’s ok with it you know, you and Ginny. If I were you when he’s around, I’d keep the snogging to a minimum.” she told him, “we’re not coming back Hermione. I've got to finish what Dumbledore whatever started and I don’t know where that’ll lead me but I’ll let you, Ron and Rosella know where I am when I can.” Harry said to us, “Wait, who said you were doing this alone?” I asked him, “I’ve always admired your courage Harry but sometimes you can be really thick. Rosella’s right, you don’t really think you’re going to be able to find all those Horcruxes by yourself do you?” Hermione said to him, “as stubborn as you are, you’re going to need all the help you can get at this point Harry.” I told him, “she’s right, you need us Harry.” Hermione told him, “I never realized how beautiful this place was.” Harry said before we heard something and saw that it was Dumbledore’s Phoenix as it flew past and both Ron and I stood up and watched it fly off, “I really liked that bird.” I said to them and The four of us continued to talk for a while before we decided to leave the Astronomy Tower and before I walked away to make my way to the Slytherin Common Room, I wanted to make sure Harry was going to be alright, “are you going to be alright?” I asked him, “yeah, I’ll be fine.” he said before he walked away with Hermione and Ron and I sighed a little before making my way to the Common Room. by the time I had gotten there, I noticed that the entire room went quiet before I eventually ended up in Draco’s dorm for the rest of the night and I ended up crying myself to sleep that night.

When another day came around, I was packing my things for when we leave ad after doing so, I noticed Draco’s Quidditch jumper and I took it before I held t close to me as it still smelt like him before I quickly wiped the tears away before I put it in my trunk before making sure that I had everything before leaving the Common Room and making my way to the train. By the time I had gotten there and got on, I managed to find an empty cabin and sat down and was lucky enough to be sitting alone throughout the entire train ride as I just looked outside the entire time. By the time the train finally got to Kings Cross, myself along with everyone else had gotten off the train and gathered our things before I walked up to Carlisle and Esme, “how are you doing? Everyone back at the house heard what happened.” Esme told me, “I’ll be alright. I just want to go home.” I told her, “alright then, let’s go. We can talk about it later.” Carlisle said before the three of us left the station and made our way home. By the time I made it home from the station, I had gone straight to my room and left my things in the middle of the floor  and got into bed as I didn’t want to talk to anyone at the moment. After a while had passed, I finally decided to get out of bed and headed downstairs and walked into the kitchen to get something to eat before I heard someone walk into the room and I looked to see that it was Alice, “are you feeling ok?” she asked me and Ishrugged a little, “a little. Still feeling a little down about everything.” I told her, “I know it’s going to be hard for a while but it will get better.” she told me, “I hope so.” I said as I started playing with Draco’s ring around my neck before she noticed and spoke up about it, “whose is that?” she asked me, “it’s Draco. He gave it to me before everything happened. I don’t think I’ll be taking it off anytime soon.” I told her, “I don't blame you. You’re worried about him aren’t you?” she said to me and I nodded, “yeah, I just don't want anything to happen to him.” I told her, “I’m sure he’ll be fine.” she told me, “I hope so.” I told her and the both of us continued to talk for a while before we walked into the living room before we ended up talking about everything that’s been going on recently before I had gotten tired and decided to go to bed for the night. As time went on, Moody had written to us about what was going to happen and I agreed to it and talked about what might happen when the day comes to go to Harry’s place and until that day came around, I spent most of my time Inside.
