Chapter Forty Four

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
It was another day and throughout the day, I was getting anxious about meeting in the Room of Requirement and when the time came around, I made my way to the Room of Requirement and by the time I had gotten there, I made sure that no one was around before making my way inside and saw that a few were already there before seeing Harry, Ron and Hermione and walked up to the three of them, “hey.” I said to them, “hey. good timing, we were just talking about what to do.” Hermione said to me, “just start with the simple stuff for a while and gradually get through to the harder stuff.” I mentioned to them, “alright then, we’ll start there.” Harry said and we waited for everyone else to arrive and when they did, we had gotten into two lines and I stood next to Nigel in the back while Harry helped Neville in the front of the lines, “Expelliarmus.” Neville said before his wand shot out of his hand and we all ducked before it hit the wall behind Nigel and myself, “I’m hopeless.” Neville said, “no, you’re just flourishing your wand too much. Try it like this, Expelliarmus.” Harry said to him before demonstrating before he disarmed the dummy that was in the room and we continued to go down the lines as we worked on the spells. After the meeting was over, everyone was gathering their things and making their way out of the Room of Requirement and I walked up to Harry to see how he was doing, “hey, I wanted to ask how you’re doing.” I said to him, “I’m alright I guess. How about you? How are you doing?” He said to me, “I’m doing alright. Just glad we’re doing something about all of this” I said to him, “yeah, it’s better than what Umbridge wants us to do.” he said to me, “yeah, she’s a little ornery I suppose.” I said to him and the both of us laughed a little as we continued to walk and talk for a while before we decided to go to our Common Rooms. By the time I made it to the Common Room for the time being, I put my things away before I sat with Draco and the others for a while before we had left the Common Room to go to the Great Hall for dinner. By the time we had gotten there, I spent the entire time talking to Draco and the both of us had a few laughs together as we ate and when dinner was over for the night, everyone had left and made their way to their Common Rooms for the night and by the time I made it to the Slytherin Common Room, I spent the rest of the night with Draco as the both of us just talked about everything as it made me forget everything that’s been going on before the both of us had decided to go to bed for the night.

As time went on, we continued to meet in the Room of Requirement we continued to work on the simpler spells until on day, we agreed to start trying them out on each other and both Harry and Nigel were the first to do so while the rest of us stood on either side before Harryspoke up, “Stunning is one of the most useful spells in your arsenal it’s more of a Wizard’s bread and butter really, so come on the Nigel. Give it your best shot.” Harry said as he eventually stood on the other end and after a few moments had passed, Nigel finally did something, “stupefy.” he said causing the both of them to land on the floor and the both of them eventually got back up, “are you two alright?” I asked them, “yeah.” the both of them said, “good. Not bad at all Nigel.” Harry sad to him and we ended up taking turns and both Ron and Hermione were going up next and after a few moments, we all stood on either side before Ron and Hermione faced each other and eventually, before Ron could do anything, Hermione was the first to speak up, “Stupefy.” she said causing Ron to go flying before he landed on the ground and I chuckled a little before he got up and walked over to the boys and I went over to Hermione along with the other girls and we snickered about what had happened before we continued with what we were doing and I walked up along with Fred and the both of us held up our wands and I smirked a little, “Stupefy.” I said before he could do anything and he eventually landed on the floor before he eventually got up. After some time had passed, the meeting was over and we all got our things before we began to leave the Room of Requirement ad after doing so, I made my way to the Common Room for the night and I thought about everything on my way there and began to wonder if we were doing the right thing but at the same time, it felt right. I eventually made it to the Common Room and sat down to get some work done and once I was done, I noticed Draco walk up to me and I smiled as he sat down next to me, “how was your day?” I asked him, “it was good. How was yours?” He said to me, “It was good. It’s better now that I get to see you.” I told him before kissing his cheek and the both of us spent some time together before heading to the Great Hall for dinner and when we had gotten there and sat down, the both of us just talked throughout dinner about our days until dinner was over, we all left the Great Hall and both Draco and I made it back to the Common Room for the rest of the night and continued to spend time together before going to bed for the night.

More time had passed and Christmas was just around the corner and after classes were over for the day, I was making my way to the Room of Requirement and made sure that no one was following me before I eventually walked in and a few others had done the same and we continued to do what we were doing before Neville finally managed to master one of the spells and everyone congratulated him on doing so. After the meeting was over, Harry, Ron, Hermione and myself stood in front of everyone before Harry spoke up to them, “so, that’s it for this lesson. Now we’re not going to be meeting again until after the Holidays. So just keep practicing on your own as best you can and well done, all of you. Great, great work.” He said to everyone before we all started clapping before we all started grabbing our things before Hermione, Ron and myself noticed Harry looking at Cho before I went up to him, “I want details.” I said to him and he just looked at me, “what? I’m not the only one who noticed.” I said to him and the both of us chuckled a little before I walked away and left the Room of Requirement along with the other’s and made my way to the Slytherin Common Room for the night. By the time I made it to the Common Room, I did some homework and got some studying done as well before I put my things away and after doing so, I mad my way to the Great Hall with everyone else and by the time I had gotten there, I sat with Draco before dinner started and the both of us just spent the entire time talking with each other and had a few laughs before dinner was over and the both of us made our way back to the Common Room for the rest of the night and just spent some time together for a while before we had gone to our Dorms and once I walked into mine, I got changed into something comfortable for the night before getting into bed ad quickly fell asleep that night. It was another day and I heard about what had happened to Mr. Weasley from Carlisle and after some time had passed, The Holidays finally came around and I was planning on going home for Christmas and after making sure that I had everything I needed before I walked ut of my dorm and left the Common Room with Draco and the other’s as we made our way to the Train. By the time we had gotten there, we all got on and I sat next to Draco and the both of us talked about what we might be doing over the Holidays throughout the entire train ride.
