Chapter Thirty Nine

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
After taking a shower and getting cleaned up, I eventually walked into the Common Room only to see everyone staring at me after the room had gone quiet and afr standing there for a moment, I went straight to my Dorm and I just sat there thinking to myself about everything that had happened before I heard a knock at the door before Draco popped his head in, “what are you doing in here?” I asked him, “I wanted to make sure you were alright. Pansy allowed me to come in.” he told me as he walked in and sat down next to me and I rested my head on his shoulder, “you’re going to get through this, I know you will.” he said to me, “I hope so. I just don’t know if I could do it on my own.” I said to him and felt him kiss the top of my head, “you won’t be on your own. You have me and your family and the others.” he said to me and I smiled a little, “and I appreciate that. I really do.” I said to him and the both of us continued to talk until it had gotten late and he left the room before Pansy walked in with the other girls we shared it with and I spent some time talking with Pansy for a while as it took my mind off of everything for a while before the both of us had gone to bed for the night. When another day came around, I had gotten ready for the day before finding out that Dumbledore wanted everyone from all three schools to meet in the Great Hall and by the time I had gotten there with Draco, the both of us sat down along with everyone else and once everyone was there, there was a moment of silence before Dumbledore spoke up to everyone, “today, we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was, as you all know, exceptionally hard working. Infantly fair minded and most importantly a fierce, fierce friend. Now I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was Murdered by Lord Voldemort. The Ministry of Magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so, I think, would be an insult to his memory.  Now the pain we all feel  at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events, the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vein, you remember that and we’ll celebrate a boy who was kind, honest, brave and true right to the very end.” he said to everyone before he eventually dismissed from the room and everyone was saying goodbye to everyone from the two schools in the courtyard and both Draco and I said goodbye to some of them before everyone later walked them out and once they were gone I had decided to go to the Common Room for the time being and spent a lot of time thinking to myself before it had gotten late and I decided to go to bed later that night.

It was another day and it was the day that everyone would be leaving to go home for the summer and after making sure that I had everything packed and ready to go before I sat there for a moment thinking to myself about everything before I walked out of my dorm and soon walked up to Draco before he spoke up, “how are you feeling?” he asked me, “I’m alright. I just don’t want to think or talk about it right now.” I told him and he nodded before the both of us left the Common Room and made our way to the train. By the time we had gotten there, the both of us got on and sat together and talked throughout the entire train ride to London and it made me forget about everything for a while. By the time we made it to KingsCross, everyone started getting off and getting our things. I walked up to Draco and hugged him, “thank you for understanding.” I said to him that I felt him hug me back, “you’re welcome. I hope to see you soon.” he said to me and I smiled a little before we separated from the hug and said goodbye before I walked up to Carlisle and Esme, “you really care about him don’t you.” Esme said to me and I looked back at Draco to see him leave with his parents, “yeah I do. I just don’t feel comfortable that his father is a Death Eater and that Draco has to live with him.” I said to him, “I know but I’m sure he’ll be alright and besides, I’m sure he’d tell you if something was wrong.” Esme said to me, “she’s right. Anyways, Let’s get home shall we.” Carlisle said before the three of us left. After leaving the train station, we managed to make it home and after doing so, I went straight to my room and locked the door and just left everything in my trunk as I didn't want to bother with it or anyone else for the time being before I laid in bed for a while as I just wanted to me alone for a while hoping that no one would mention anything that had happened and I ended up falling asleep for a while. After some time had passed, I finally woke up and walked out of my room and went to get something to snack on and I ignored everyone before I left the kitchen to go back to my room, Carlisle stood in front of me, “I don’t want to talk about it.” I said to him, “well you should. Keep it all in isn’t going to do you any good.” he said to me, “what do you know? They’re not after you, they’re after me. I’ve been hiding and staying in the shadows my entire life because of them and I don’t want that anymore. I’d rather do something than sit here hiding then to not do so.” I said to him as my anger grew a little before I noticed Jasper trying to do something about it, “knock it off Jasper.” I said to him before I rushed out of the house and ended up in the forest where I spent the rest of the night as I just wanted to be alone for the time being.

After a while, I made it back home the next morning and when I made it inside,  was heading to my room before Esme walked up to me with something in her hand, “I made you something to eat. I thought you’d be hungry after you got back.” she said to me, “thanks.” I said as I took the plate of food from her and went to my room and ate it before laying there thinking about everything that’s happened before I ended up falling asleep. Another day came around and I’ve been spending a lot of time in my room and Esme walked into the room and sat down on the bed before she spoke up, “hey, how are you feeling?” she asked me, “alright I guess.” I told her, “well, I want you to know that we had gotten a letter from Sirius Black about a meeting that they’ll be having soon for the Order of the Phoenix. They want us to come by.” she told me, “what for?” I asked her, “to talk about what happened.” she told me and I sighed a little, “alright then, I’ll go.” I said to her, “look, I know that this isn’t easy right now but I know that everything is going to be alright and that you will get through this. You have people that will help you get through this.” she told me, “I know but sometimes I feel like I’m alone.” I told her, “I know but you’re not. You know what, why don’t you, me and the girls go out for a while. Will that cheer you up at all?” she said to me and I smiled a little, “alright.” I said to her and the both of us along with Alice and Rose and when we had gotten out into the city, the four of us had a good time together and it even put a smile on my face. After spending some time in the city, we eventually made it home for the rest of the day and I had gone to my room to put everything away before I spent some time alone before spending the rest of the night before it got late and I decided to go to bed for the night and once I walked into my room, I got changed and got into bed before going to sleep for the night.
