Chapter Fifty Eight

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
After making it into the cave, the three of us walked around before Dumbldore had spoken up, “this is the place. This place has known Magic.” he said to us before he took out a small knife before using it to cut his hand, “sir.” Harry said to him, “in order to gain passage, payment must be made. Payment intended to weaken any intruder” he said to us, “you should have let me do it sir.” Harry said to him, “or me.” I mentioned, “oh no, your blood is much more precious than mine, especially yours Miss. Cullen.” Dumbledore said to us before he hovered his hand over the wall as it had done something while rocks had fallen to the ground before it had formed a passageway and the three of us eventually walked through before Dumbledore had spoken up again, “Voldemort would not have made it easy to discover his hiding place. He would put certain defenses in position.” he said to us before we stood in front of the water, “careful,” he said to us before he had thrown a light to the other end before it stopped and the light got brighter, “there it is.the only question is, how do we get there.” Dumbledore said to us before he got closer before he had done something that summoned a boat to the surface of the water before a chain appeared causing Dumbledore to catch it before giving it to me, “would you mind.” he said to me before I started pulling it to us  before the boat came to the surface. By the time I got it to us, the three of us got on and made our way to where the light was and by the time we had gotten there, the three of us carefully got off the boat and walked up to something and noticed there was some kind of Liquid in it, “do you think the Horcrux is in there sir?” Harry asked him, “yes.” Dumbldore said as he tried to touch the Liquid causing something to happen, “it has to be drunk, all of it. the both of you remember the conditions on which I brought the both of you with me? This potion might paralyze me.  May forget why I’m here. It might cause me so much pain that I beg for relief. The both of you are not to indulge in these requests. It’s your job to make sure that I drink this Potion even if either of you have to force it down my throat. Understood.” he said to us and I felt uneasy about it, “why can’t either of us drink it sir?” Harry asked him, “because I’m much older. Much cleverer and much less valuable.” Dumbledore said before taking the scoop “you’re good health Harry and Rosella.” he said to us before he started drinking the Potion and not long after he had taken the first scoop, he began to happen to Dumbledore before Harry and I helped him before sitting him down, “Harry, we have to keep going.” I said to him, “I can’t.” He said to me, “Listen to me, if you want to get through this and get out of this bloody cave with him alive, just do what he says. I know it’s not easy to do but It will only give him pain, nothing more. Just do what he says please.” I said to him before he went over to the Potion and he continued to do so.

After a while had passed, it was finally over as Dumbledore calmed down a little before speaking up to Harry, “Harry, water.” he said to him before Harry had gone to get water before I noticed him stop, “what is it?” I asked Harry, “we did it. We got the Horcrux.” he said to me before the light had gotten darker as Dumbledore continued to ask for water and Harry tried getting it for him before he ended up going to the water around us, “be careful” I said to him before the light had gone into the water, “Lumos.” Harry and I said and a light appeared at the end of our wands and when he tried getting the water again, something had happened causing Harry to stop what he was doing, “what happened?” I asked him, “I don’t know, something just grabbed my arm.” He said to me before something was coming out of the water around us, “that’s not good.” I mentioned, “Lumos Maxima.” Harry said and we were able to see what was going on better before we started attacking what was coming out of the water before it had become too much for us to handle before Harry ended up falling into the water and I struggled before I managed to get some of them off of me before going after Harry as I dove into the water and swam after him and when I got close, I reached my hand it to him before I managed to grab a hold of it before attacking some of the things that were dragging him down before most of them let go before I pulled him back to the surface as we saw something happening from above the water and when we made it back to the Surface we saw that Dumbledore was standing and causing the fire as we made it back to him as we helped him make it back to the boat before making a path through the fire before we got on the boat and made our way back. By the time we had gotten there, the three of us managed to get off the boat and made sure that Dumbledore was going to be alright to Apparate before doing so After we managed to Apparate out of the cave, the three of us made it back to the Astronomy Tower and helped Dumbledore sit down, “we need to get you to the Hospital Wing sir. To Madam Pomfrey.” Harry said to him, “no. Severus. Severus is who we need. Wake him, tell him what happened. Speak to no one else. Severus.'' He said to us and Harry and I just looked at each other before we made our way to the stairs before we heard something causing us to stop, “Hide yourself below Harry. Don't speak or be seen by anybody without my permission. Whatever happens, stay below. Do as I say. Trust me.” Dumbledore said to him before hearing something again, “Rosella, go with him. I advise you to do the same.” he told me, “I can’t leave you sir, you’re too vulnerable in the state that you’re in sir.” I said to him, “please Rosella, do as I say” he said and I took a moment before doing what he said and followed Harry downstairs.

By the time we made it underneath where we were, we heardDumbledore speak up to someone, “good evening Draco. What brings you here on this fine spring evening?” He said to Draco and my heart stopped when I heard his name, “who else is here? I heard you talking.” Draco said and I began to tear up a little, “I often talk aloud to myself. I find it extraordinarily useful. Have you been whispering to yourself Draco?” Dumbledore said to him before there was a moment of silence before Dumbledore spoke up again, “Draco, you are no assassin and I know Rosella can confirm it.” He said to Draco, “leave her out of this. Besides, how do you know what I am? I’ve done things that would shock you.” Drco said to him, “like cursing Katie Bell in hoping that in return she’d bear a cursed Necklace to me? Lik replacing a bottle of Mea with one laced with Poison? Forgive me Draco but I cannot help but feel that these actions are so weak that your heart could have really been in them.” he said to Draco, “he trusts me. I was chosen.” Draco said before he showed his mark, “you knew didn’t you?” I heard Harry ask me, “only what my sister told me. She sees things and she was able to see what had happened to him before school. I didn’t want to believe it until now, that’s why I didn’t say anything besides the Cabinet.” I said to Harry before we continued to hear the conversation between Dumbledor and Draco, “I shall make it easy for you.” Dumbledore said before Draco disarmed him, “very good, very good” Dumbledore said before hearing a door open and close, “you’re not alone? There are other’s? How?” Dumbldore asked him, “the Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirement. I’ve been mending it.” Draco mantoned, “Let me guess, it has a sister? A twin?” Dumbledore asked, “in Borgin and Burke’s they form a passage.” Draco told him, "ingenieus".  Draco, years ago I knew a boy who made all the wrong choices. Please let me help you.” Dumbledore told him, “I don’t want your help. Don’t you understand, I have to do this. I have to kill you or he’s going to kill me.” Draco said to him and I felt a tear slip down my cheek, “he didn’t have a choice.” I said, “I know you care about him a lot, I really do and I’m sorry.” Harry said to me and I just looked at him, “it’s going to take time for me to forgive you.” I said to him and he just nodded before hearing others walking up the stairs as Harry and I stayed out of sight before hearing that Bellatrix was one of them as the conversation between the group had continued. After a while, both Harry and I saw Snape before he motioned for us to stay quiet before he walked away and after a few moment’s he had gotten everyone’s attention, “No.” was all he said before Dumbledore spoke up to him, “Severus. Please.” he said and after a moment of silence, Snape spoke up again, “Avada Kedavra.” he said and as soon as the Curse hit Dumbledore, it caused him to fall over the edge of the Astronomy Tower.
