Chapter Nine

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
By the time I made it home with Carlisle and Esme, I had gone straight to my room and started unpacking my things before I noticed something at the bottom of my trunk and saw that it was a picture of myself along with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle and I smiled a little as the four of us were smiling and laughing the entire time before I noticed that someone was standing in my room and looked to see that it was Jasper, “how was school?” he asked me and the both of us sat on the bed, “it was alright. Managed to make some friends.” I said to him, “that’s good to hear.” he said to me as I looked at the picture, “are they the friends you made?” he asked me and I nodded, “yeah, that’s Vincent Crabbe. Gregory Goyle and Draco Malfoy.” I said to him as I pointed them out, “I’m glad you made some friends. Are they good to you?” he said to me and I nodded, “yeah they are. They’re nice to me.” I said to him and the both of us continued to talk about how school went before I continued putting everything away. After a while, I headed downstairs to see that everyone was doing their own thing and I spent some time with Emmett as the both of us ended up playing Video Games together. After a while, it started getting late and I decided to go to bed for the night and after I walked into my room, I got changed for the night and got into bed before I eventually fell asleep that night. Another day came around and it ha been a couple of weeks since Summer started and it was almost my birthday and both Alice and Rose were asking about what I wanted to do and since I didn’t want to do much, I told them that I wanted to go out for a while and spend the day in town before they ended up planning what to do and I sighed a little before I decided to go outside for a while with Esme and helped her with th gardening for a while. After some time hd passed, we all decided to go hunting for a while and after doing so, w all made it back to the house for the night and I had gone to my room for the night and got changed before I did my own thing for the time being and I looked at the picture that I had found as I watched it move and I smiled a little before I decided to go the bed for the night after getting tired.

My birthday finally came around and everyone came into my room yelling happy birthday, causing me to jump a little as I quickly woken up and rubbed my eyes a little before sitting up and getting out of bed, “thanks.” I said to them, “sorry about that. We didn't mean to startle you.” Alice said to me, “it’s fine.” I said to her before they walked out of the room to let me get dressed for the day before I left the room and headed downstairs to see that breakfast was already made and I ate before Alice walked up to me and sat down, “what do you want to do today?” she asked, “why don’t we go into town.” I said to her, “good. Once you're done eating, we’ll leave alright. Me, you, Rose and the others. The sun will barely be out today so it will be alright for all of us to be out together.” She said to me and I nodded and the both of us talked about what we were going to do before I finished eating and put my dishes in the sink before we all left the house and spent the day in town for a while and I had a good time. After spending time out in town with everyone, we all made it home for the time being and continued to spend the day with everyone. Later that night, it was getting late and I decided to go to my room for the night and after doing so, I got changed for the night and got into bed for the night before going to sleep. When another day came around, I didn’t have much planned today and I was in my room reading before Esme walked into the room, “this came for you.” she said to me and I took it from her and noticed that it was a letter before I began to open it and unfolded it before I began to read what the letter said.

Dear Rosella,

I heard that I just missed your birthday and I was wondering if the both of us could go out into Diagon alley for a while. Mother said she is able to take us along with your mother as well. I hope that’s alright with you. Let me know if you’re able to come and hang out for the day.

After reading the letter from Draco, I gave it to Esme to read and she took it and read it herself before she spoke up, “do you want to go?” she asked me, “yeah.” I said to her, “alright, I’ll take you then.” she said before I started writing back to Draco about my answer while Esme had gone to talk to Carlisle about it. After writing back to Draco about my answer, I sent the letter to him and got ready for the day and after a while had passed, the both of us left the house and managed to make our way to Diagon Alley and spent some time with Draco while our mothers talked the entire time. Later that day, both Draco and his mother had to leave and Esme and myself continued to walk around for a while before heading home for the rest of the day and just did our own thing before I had gone to bed later that night.
