Chapter Five

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
After seeing that it was a dragon, a few moments went by before Hermione had spoken up about it, “is that a Dragon?” she asked before Ron spoke up, “it’s not just a dragon, that’s a Norwegian Richback. My brother Charlie works with these in Romania.” Ron said to us, “isn’t he beautiful? Oh bless him, look he knows his mummy. Hello Norbert.” Hagrid said, “Norbert?” Harry questioned, “yeah well he’s got to have a name doesn’t he?” Hagrid said to him, “I think it suits him.” I said to them before it nearly set Hagrid’s beard on fire as he managed to put it out and I heard something from outside and heard that it was Draco and decided to keep it to myself before Hagrid spoke up, “he ought to be trained up a bit of course” he said to us before he noticed something and spoke up about it, “who’s that?” he asked and we all looked to see what he was talking about and saw Draco standing there before he ran off, “Malfoy.” Harry said before Hagrid had us leave and the four of us made our way back to the castle as we talked about everything, “Hagrid always wanted a dragon. He told me so the first time I ever met him.” Harry told us, “it’s crazy and worse Malfoy knows.” Ron said to us, “I don’t understand.is that bad?” Harry asked, “depends on what you think is bad.” I said to him as I noticed Professor McGonagall standing there, “it’s bad.” Ron said before we all stopped walking, “good evening.” she said before Draco walked out from behind her before we all walked into the classroom and stood in front of Professor McGonagall, “nothing, I repeat nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night. Therefore as punishment for your actions 50 points will be taken.” she said, “50?” Harry questioned, “each. And to ensure it doesn’t happen again, all five of you will receive detention.” she told us before Draco spoke up, “excuse me professor. Perhaps I heard you wrong, I thought you said the five of us.” he said to her, “you heard me correctly Mr. Malfoy. You see, honorable as your intentions were, you to were out of bed after Hours. You will join your classmates in detention.” she told him and he looked at the others before he stood next to me again before Professor McGonagall had us leave with Mr. Filch and we eventually walked outside before Mr. Filch spoke up, “a pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time when Detention would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God I miss the screaming.” he said to us before we walked up to Hagrid’s house just as he was walking out, “you’ll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight. He’s got a little job to do in the Dark Forest.” he said to us before he spoke up to Hagrid, “a sorry lot this one Hagrid.” he said before we noticed that Hagrid was upset, “oh good god man, you’re not still on about that bloody dragon are you?” Mr. Filch asked him, “Norbert’s gone. Dumbledore sent him off to Romania to live in a colony.” Hagrid told us, “well that’s good isn’t it? He’ll be with his own kind.” Hermione told him, “but what if he doesn't like Romania? What if the other Dragons are mean to him? He's only a baby after all.” Hagrid said to us, “oh for god sakes, pull yourself together man. You’re going into the Forest after all. You’ve got to have your wits about, eh.” Mr. Filch said to Hagrid, “besides, I’m sure he’ll be alright. I’m sure they’ll take care of him.” I said to Hagrid, “the forest? I thought that was a joke.we can’t go in there. Students aren’t allowed and there are Werewolves” Draco said to Mr. Filch, “there are more than Werewolves in those trees lad. You can be sure of that. Nighty night.” Mr. Filch said before walking away, leaving us with Hagrid, “right, let’s go.” Hagrid said before we followed him into the forest.

After a while of walking through the Forest, we stopped walking before Harid walked up to something and checked it out before turning to face the five of us, “Hagrid, what is that?” Harry asked him, “what we’re here for. See that? That’s Unicorn Blood. I found one dead a few weeks ago. And now, this one’s been hurt badly by something.” Hagrid said before I saw something from the corner of my eye and looked to see someone walking in the distance before Hagrid spoke up again, “so, it’s our job to go and find the poor beast. Ron, Hermione, you'll come with me. And Harry, you’ll go with Malfoy and Cullen.” Hagrid said before Draco spoke up, “ok, then Rosella and I get Fang.” he said to Hagrid, “fine, just so you know he’s a bloody coward.” Hagrid said to him, “I’m sure he’ll be fine.” I said to them before we split up. After some time had passed, the three of us continued walking around looking for the injured Unicorn before Draco spoke up, “wait until my father hears about this. This is servant stuff.” he said to us, “suck it up will you.” I said to him, “if I didn’t know better, Draco, I’d say you were scared.” Harry said to him, “scared Potter.” Draco said before we heard something, “did you hear that?” he asked us, “who cares, let’s just get this over with.” I said to them and we continued walking around and after a while, I began to notice that we were getting closer to where the Unicorn might be before we stopped walking and fang started growling, “I think we might have found what we’re looking for.” I said to them as I noticed something hovering over the Unicorn and noticed that I didn't hear a heartbeat and realized that it was dead before something started happening to Harry, “Harry, what’s wrong?” I asked him as he was touching his forehead before looking back at the cloaked figure noticed us standing there before Draco started screaming and ran off along with Fang before the figure came up to us and both Harry and I slowly walked backwards before Harry fell and before anything else could happen, something jumped over us causing me to duck a little before it attacked the cloaked figure and I got a better look to see that it was a Centaur before I helped Harry to his feet before the Centaur walked up to the both of us, “Harry Potter. You and your friend must leave. You are known to many creatures here. The forest is not safe at this time, especially for you no matter how strong your friend can be.” he said hoping that Harry didn’t get the hint, “but what was that thing you saved us from?” Harry asked him, “a monstrous creature. It is a terrible crime to slay a Unicorn. Drinking the blood of a Unicorn will keep you alive even if you are an inch from death but at a terrible price. If you have slain something so Pure at from the moment the blood touches your lips you will have a half life. A cursed life.” he said to us, “but who would choose such a life?” Harry asked him, “someone who’s desperate for it.” I said to him, “can you think of no one?” he questioned, “do you mean to say that, that thing that killed the Unicorn. That was drinking its blood, that was Voldemort?” Harry said to him, “do either of you know what’s hidden in the school at this very moment Mr. Potter and Miss. Cullen?” He asked us, “We have a pretty good Idea.” I said to him, “the Philosopher Stone.” Harry said to him before we heard barking and looked to see that it was Hagrid and the others, “Harry, Rosella.” Hermione said, “hello there Ferense. I see you’ve met young Mr. Potter and Miss. Cullen.” Hagrid said to him, “are you two alright?” Hagrid asked us, “we’re not dead if that’s what you’re wondering.” I said to him, “Harry Potter. Rosella, this is where I leave the both of you. You’re safe now. Good luck” Ferense said before walking away, “let’s get going you two.” Hagrid said to us before we made our way out of the Forest.

After having detention with Hagrid, we all managed to make it back to the Castle and both Draco and I made it to the Common Room for the night and after walking into the Common Room, the both of us sat on the couch and I began to think about what had happened earlier before I was brought out of my thought’s when Draco spoke up, “are you alright?” he asked me and I looked at him, “I’m fine. Everything just creeped me out earlier.” I said to him, “I don’t blame you. It freaked me out too.” he said to me, “let’s not forget that you also ran away screaming.” I said to him, “don’t mention that to anyone.” he said to me and I laughed a little and the both of us continued to talk before we decided to go to bed for the night. After walking into my dorm and getting changed for the night, I quickly fell asleep that night. When another day came around, I was sitting in the Great Hall during breakfast and was sitting with Draco as the both of us talked the entire time and had a few laughs together before the both of us left the Great Hall and made our way to our first class of the day. After a while had passed, Exams were just around the corner and I spent a lot of my time studying for them and had late nights doing so. The day of the first Exam finally came around and I managed to get through it and after I left the classroom, I eventually bumped into Harry, Ron and Hermione as they were making their way outside as I caught up with them, “hey, how were your Exams?” I asked them, “it was alright.” Harry said to me, “I’d always heard Hogwarts End of Year Exams were frightful but I found them rather enjoyable.” Hermione said, “speak for yourself. Alright there Harry.” Ron said to them before I looked to see that Harry was rubbing his forehead, “my scar, it keeps burning.” he told us, “it’s happened before.” Hermione said to him, “not like this.” Harry said, “Perhaps you should see the nurse.” Ron suggested, “I think this might be much more than that Ron.” I said to him, “she’s right, I think it’s a warning. It means Danger is coming.” Harry told him as it continued to hurt him before we stopped walking and Harry realized something, “of course.” he said, “what is it?” I asked him, “don’t you think it’s a bit odd that what Hagrid wants more than anything is a dragon and a stranger turns up who just happens to have one. I mean, how many people wander around with Dragon eggs in their pockets. Why didn’t I see it before?” Harry said as we made our way to Hagrid and once we made it to him, he stopped playing the flute when he noticed us, “Hagrid, who gave you the dragon egg? What did he look like?” Harry asked him, “I don’t know. I never saw his face, he kept his hood up” Hagrid told him, “this stranger though, you and he must have talked.” Harry said to him, “well, he wanted to know what sort of creatures I looked after. I told him after Fluffy, a Dragon is going to be no problem.” Hagrid said, “did he seem interested in Fluffy?” Harry asked him, “Well of course he was interested in Fluffy. How often do you come across a three headed dog?  Even if you were in the trade. But I told him, I said, the trick with any beast  is to know how to calm him. Take Fluffy for example, just play him a bit of Music and he falls straight to sleep.” he said to us before he realized what he said, “I should have told you that” he said to us before I spoke up, “I’m still going to stick to what I said, not exactly the Keeper of Secrets.” I said to them before myself and the others ran off and eventually made it back to the Castle
