Chapter Twelve

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
After hearing someone else speak up, we noticed that it was Dumbledore as he walked past everyone, “Argus. Argus I-” h began to say before he saw what was going on before he continued, “Everyone will proceed to their Dormitories immediately” he said and we were about to do so before he continued, “everyone except, you three.” he said as he pointed at Harry, Ron and Hermione before we all began to make our way to our Common Rooms for the night. After what had happened, both Draco and I made it to the Common Room with the others and I decided to get changed into something else for the night and after a while,  spent some time with Draco as the both of us talked the entire time until we noticed that everyone had gone to bed for the night, “are you excited for our first Quidditch Match soon?” I asked him, “yeah, I am. Are you?” he said to me and I smiled a little, “yeah a little. I just hope that I can get us a couple of goals at least.” I told him, “I’m sure you’ll do great.” he said before I started thinking about what had happened earlier in the Hallway before Draco brought me out of my thought’s, “what’s on your mind?” he asked me, “just thinking about what had happened earlier in the Hallway.” I told him, “yeah, that was kind of spooky I suppose.” he said to me, “what did you mean by what you said then. About the whole Mudblood thing.” I said to him, “well, as you know my family has traditions and whatnot about our bloodstatus. They’ve always hated being associated with Muggleborns and Halfbloods.” he said to me, “oh, then how come you hang out with me all the time then?” I asked him, “I don’t know. You just seem different I suppose. I also want to hang out with you, I also get this feeling of wanting to be close to you as well.” he said to me and I felt a little nervous when he said that, especially knowing what he was talking about and I hated the fact that if it was happening, he would have to find out about me and possibly my family as well about who we really are and after some time had passed, the both of us eventually went to bed for the night after talking for a while longer about other things. When the next day came around, I eventually got ready for the day before leaving the Common Room with Draco and the other’s and made our way to the Great Hall for Breakfast and we ate together as we talked before we made our way to our first class of the day. By the time we made it to Transfiguration, the both of us sat down next to each other and after a few moment’s had passed, Professor McGonagall spoke up to everyone, “could I have your attention please. Now today, we will be transforming Animals into Water Goblets. Like so. One, Two, Three Vera Verto.” she said as she also demonstrated as the Bird turned into a Water Goblet, “now it's your turn. Who would like to go first? Ah, Mr. Weasley. One, Two, Three Vera Verto.” she said, “Vra Verto.” Ron said but it didn’t turn out the way he’d hoped it would and I laughed a little along with some of the other’s, “that Wand needs replacing Mr. Weasley.” she said to him before Hermione raised her hand, “yes Miss. Granger.” Professor McGonagall said to her, “Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about the Chamber of Secrets.” Hermione said to her and there was a moment of silence.

After a moment had passed, Professor McGonagall spoke up, “very well. Well you all know, of course, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the Four greatest Witches and Wizard of the age. Godric Gryffindor. Helga Hufflepuff. Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. Now three of the founders coexisted quite harmoniously, one did not. Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed Magical learning should be kept within all Magic families, in other words, Purebloods. Unable to persuade the others he decided to leave the school.now according to legend, Slytherin had built a hidden Chamber in this castle known as the Chamber of Secrets. Though shortly before departing, he sealed it until that time when his own true heir returned to the school. The heir alone would be able to open the Chamber and unleash the Horror within and by so doing, purge the school of all thoughts who, in Slytherin’s view, were unworthy to study Magic.” Professor McGonagall said, “Muggleborns.” Hermione mentioned, “well, naturally, the school has been searched many times. No such Chamber has been found.” Professor McGonagall said, “Professor, what exactly does legend tell us lies within the Chamber?” Hermione asked her, “the Chamber is sad to be home to something that only the Heir of Slytherin can Control. It is said to be the home of a Monster.” Professor McGonagall said before Ron looked at Draco and  furrowed my brows a little before Professor McGonagall continued with the class. After class was over, both Draco and I along with Crabb and Goyal were walking through the halls before we ended up walking past Harry, Ron and Hermione and I managed to overhear what they were talking about before I decided to tell Draco what I heard, “they’re talking about the Chamber of Secrets. I think they think you might have something to do with it or something.” I said to him, “Well then they’ve gone mental because I have nothing to do with wanting to open it.” he said to me, “you and I both know what they’re like. They’ll end up looking into it.” I said to him and we continued to talk as we made it to our next class of the day. After the first few classes were over for the day, both Draco and I had gone to the Great Hall for Lunch and by the time we had gotten there, the both of us sat down next to each other and ate together and had a few laughs as we talked and did some work together and when Lunch ended, the both of us left the Great Hall and went on with our days. Later that night, I was thinking about what Harry, Ron and Hermione were talking about earlier as it bothered me.

After some time had passed, I felt someone sit down next to me and I looked to see that it was Draco and I smiled a little, “why are you still up?” he asked me, “I was just thinking that’s all.” I said to him, “what about?” he asked me, “it’s just, what I overheard about what Hermione was talking about with Harry and Ron was bothering me.” I told him, “I’m sure everything will be alright. They’ve got nothing to prove anyways.” he said to me and I sighed a little and nodded before we talked for a short while before going to bed for the night. It was another day and it was finally the first Quidditch Match of the year and I had gone to the Great Hall with Draco and the other’s and I sat with Draco as the both of us ate together and talked about the Match. After having breakfast, myself along with the rest of the team left the Great Hall and got ready for the Match. After going over everything, myself along with the team eventually flew out onto the field along with the Gryffindor Team and got into Position before Madam Hooch walked out onto the field and began the Match. After a while had passed, I managed to get a few goals into the hoops before we eventually managed to get another and I realized that we were winning and I smiled a little as we continued with the Match. After a while, I felt something hit the end of my broom causing me to lose control of my broom and eventually fall off of it and began to feel a pain in my arm and noticed that my shoulder was popped out of place and I took a deep breath before popping it back in causing me to groan a little before I got up and noticed Draco on the ground and made sure he was alright before continuing with the Match. After the Match was over, I had gone to the Hospital Wing along with Draco to get checked on and after a few moments, Esme, Carlisle and Rose walked into the Hospital Wing and came over to me just as the nurse was leaving, “are you alright?” Carlisle asked me, “yeah, I’m fine. It healed rather quickly actually.” I said to him as I rolled my writed a little, “good. That’s good.” he said to me, “you did good though for your first game.” Rose told me, “thanks.” I said to her, “by the way, where did you get the broom from?” Esme asked me, “my friend’s dad got the team new brooms.” I told her, “that was generous of him.” Carlisle said to me, “yeah it was.” I said to him before he spoke up again in a whisper that only we could hear, “when was the last time you went hunting?” he asked me, “it’s been a while I suppose.” I said to him, “you should go soon dear. Because you know what happened the last time you went too long without feeding.” Esme said to me and I sighed a little, “I know. I nearly ended up killing people.” I said to her hoping no one heard before I started thinking about that day when we were living in Alaska for a while, “you should go tonight if Professor Dumbledore will let you.” Rose told me, “I can tell him about it.” I told her and we continued to talk before they had to leave and I eventually left the Hospital Wing and made it back to the Common Room for the time being and got changed out of my Quidditch Uniform and into something else before spending the rest of the day with Draco and the others.
