Chapter Fourteen

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
It was the next morning and I felt someone gently shaking me awake and I slowly woke up to see that it was Draco and I soon sat up before he sat down next to me, “what time is it?” I asked him, “just after Seven'' he said to me and I sighed a little before I went to my dorm and got ready for the day and once I was done, I walked back into the Common Room before Draco and I left and made our way to the Great Hall before Draco spoke up, “Rosella, you’re looking a little pale. Are you alright?” he said to me and I panicked a little realizing that I hadn’t gone hunting, “yeah I’m alright. Actually, I’ll meet you in class alright.” I said to him before rushing off and found Professor Dumbledore as I walked into his office, “is everything alright Miss. Cullen?” he asked me before he spoke up again, “don’t answer that. Do what you must do.” he said to me, “thank you Professor.” I said to him before I ran out of the Castle and made it into the forest and did what I had to do. After I managed to go hunting, I took a moment to myself as I began to feel everything set in and I let out a heavy sigh before I made my way back to the Castle and walked inside once I had gotten there and made my way to the Great Hall since there was still time for breakfast and I found Draco was still there and walked up to him and sat down, “is everything alright?” he asked me, “yeah, everything is fine.” I told him, “are you sure?” he asked, “yeah, I just had to take care of a personal Matter.” I told him, “alright, I just want to make sure you’re alright.” he said to me and I smiled a little, “I didn’t realize you were so caring.” I said to him and chuckled a little as I started eating something, “just so you know, you’re the only one I’ll be caring towards.” he said to me, “is that so?” I questioned, “yeah.” he said and I smiled a little before the both of us finished eating before we left the Great Hall and made our way to our first class of the day and we eventually made it to Transfiguration and after everyone had gotten to the class, Professor McGonagall soon began the class. After the first few classes were over for the day, I decided to go outside to get some air and by the time I made it outside, I sat in the courtyard thinking to myself about everything that’s been going on recently and whether or not I should stop hanging out with Harry and the other’s all together before I noticed Draco and I smiled a little when he walked up to me before sitting down, “I was looking all over the Castle for you.” he said to me, “sorry. I hope I didn’t worry you.” I said to him, “no you haven’t. I was just wondering where you were.” he said to me and I smiled a little before the both of us continued to talk for a while before the both of us decided to go back inside for the time being and eventually made it to the Common Room for the time being and the both of us did some homework together before going to the Great Hall for dinner along with the others and continued to spend the rest of the night together before going to bed later that night.

As time went on, the weather was getting colder and I was sitting in the Library finishing up whatever homework I had for my classes and after a while, I was beginning to decide about whether or not I should go home for the Holidays and after thinking about it for a while, I noticed Draco sit down next to me before he spoke up, “what are you doing for the Holidays?” he asked me, “I’m not sure. I don’t know if I want to stay here or go home.” I said to him, “well I’m staying here this year. So are Crabbe and Goyle. You know if you stayed too, the both of us could spend the Holidays together.” he said to me and I thought about it before deciding about what I should do, “alright, I think I’ll stay at the Castle for Christmas this year.” I said to him and I noticed him smile a little before the both of us finished whatever we needed to get done before the both of us left the Library and eventually made it to the Common Room for the night and spent time hanging out with Crabbe and Goyle for a while before it had gotten late and the four of us decided to go to bed for the night. When Christmas morning finally came around, I had gotten up and went downstairs and saw that Draco was already up and I sat next to him on the couch before he handed me something, “this one had your name on it. I think it came from your family. There’s a few of them with your name on it under the tree actually.” he said to me, “really? Didn’t know whether or not they would be able to.” I said to him before we opened everything that we had gotten from our families and after doing so, we had gotten changed for the day and decided to go outside for a while and we all had a good day together as I spent the entire day smiling and laughing with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle. Later that day, both Draco and I had gone to the Great Hall for dinner along with Crabbe and Goyle and the four of us sat together and talked as the four of us ate together. After some time had passed, both Draco and I finished eating and the both of us were making our way to the Common Room before we saw Crabbe and Goyle talking with Percy, “Crabbe, Goyle where have you two been? Pigging out in the Great Hall all this time?” Draco asked them as we walked up to them, “why are you wearing glasses?” Draco asked Goyle, “reading.” was all Goyle said, “reading? I didn’t know you could read.” Draco said to him before I noticed that the glasses looked familiar before Draco spoke up to Percy, “and what are you doing down here Weasley?” he asked Percy, “mind your attitude Malfoy.” Percy said to him before the four of us left.

By the time we made it to the Common Room, both Draco and I sat down on the couch while Crabbe and Goyle continued to stand and I began to feel like something was off with the both of them, “well, sit down.” Draco said and the both of them sat down, “you’d never know the Weasley’s were Purebloods, the way they behave. They’re an embarrassment to the Wizarding World, all of them.” Draco said, “What's wrong with you Crabbe?” Draco asked him, “Stomach Ache.” he said before Draco continued, “you know, I’m surprised that the Daily Prophet hasn’t done a report on all of these attacks. I suppose Dumbledore is trying to hush it all up. Father always said that Dumbledore was the worst thing that ever happened to this place.” Draco said, “you’re wrong.” Goyle said, “Are you sure you’re alright?” I asked them, “what? You think there’s someone here who’s worse than Dumbledore?” Draco asked them and there was a moment of silence before Draco spoke up again, “well, do you?” He asked them, “Harry Potter?” Goyle said, “good one Goyle, you’re absolutely right. Saint Potter and people actually think that he’s the heir of Slytherin.” Draco said, “but then you must have some Idea on who’s behind it all.” Goyle said, “You know I don’t Goyle. I told you yesterday how many times do I have to tell you?” Draco said to him before he shook something, “is this your’s?” he asked and the three of us shook our heads, “but my father did say this. It’s been fifty years since the Chamber was opened. He wouldn’t tell me who opened it, only that they were expelled. The last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened a Mudblood died so it’s only a matter of time before one of them is killed this time as for me, I hope it’s Granger.” He said before Crabbe got up and was about to do something to Draco before Goyle stopped him from doing anything, “what’s the matter with you two? You’re acting very odd.” Draco said to them, “It's his Stomach Ache.” Goyle said, “I highly doubt that.” I said to him and he just looked nervous and I knew something else was going on and I was trying to remember what it was and I noticed Draco open the box he found before noticing Crabbe and Goyle rush out of the Common Room, “hey, where are you going?” Draco asked them but they ignored him and ran out of the room. After Crabbe and Goyle rushed out of the Common Room I quickly remembered that it might have been Harry and Ron after remembering that they were making Polyjuice Potion and thought about tell Draco about it before he brought me out of my thought’s, “do you know what’s going on with them?” he asked me, “I think so” I told him, “what is it?” he asked me, “I think it was Harry and Ron.” I said to him, “that can’t be possible.” he said to me, “it can with Polyjuice Potion.” I said to him, “do you know why they’re doing this?” he asked me, “they think you’re the Heir of Slytherin Remember? especially since you want Hermione dead out of every other Muggleborn in the school” I said to him and he sighed a little, “don’t do anything that you’ll regret. I doubt they’d get far to begin with. Besides, I highly doubt no one will believe that a 12 year old boy would want to open it in the first place.” I said to him, “I suppose you have a point. I guess I don’t have anything to worry about.” he said to me, “I doubt it.” I said to him and the both of us continued to hang out for a while longer before seeing the real Crabbe and Goyle walk into the room and we talked with them about what had happened before it got late and the four of us had gone to bed for the night.
