Chapter Twenty Four

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
The Holidays finally came around and I was getting my things together and once I had what I needed before I walked out of my dorm and soon left the Common Room with Draco and the other’s and we made our way to the train and by the time we had gotten there and got on, we all sat together and had a few laughs together. By the time I made it home from the Station with Esme and Carlisle, I had gone to my room to put my stuff away and after doing so, I had walked into the living room and spent some time with the other’s and played a few video games with Emmett for a while before we all had gone out and went hunting for a while before making it home for the rest of the night and I had gone to my room to get cleaned up and changed and after a while, I was sitting on my bed reading a book before Rose walked into the room and sat down with me, “how are things at school?” she asked me, “they’re alright. Apparently, there’s a killer named Sirius Black running around though. Although, I do have an odd feeling about it. I feel like there’s something more than what’s really going on.” I told her, “well, I’m sure there is an explanation about it but until then, be careful while you’re at school alright.” she said to me and I nodded, “I will.” I told her and the both of us continued to talk before Alice walked into the room and the three of us hung out for a while before it got late and I started getting tired and not long after Rose and Alice walked out of the room, I had quickly fallen asleep that night. It was finally Christmas Morning and not long after I had woken up, I sped downstairs to say that everyone was in the Living Room talking with each other before they noticed me before we all started opening presents that we had gotten for each other before Carlisle had given me one, “this one's for you. Your friend, Draco, gave it to me just as we were leaving the Station the other day.” he said to me and I took it from him and started opening it and soon saw that it was a Necklace with a Snake charm on it and I smiled a little, “do you want me to put it on for you?” Alice asked me and I nodded and she had done so after I moved my hair out of the way and and I continued to look at it with a small smile on my face before Carlisle had gotten my attention, “so who’s Draco?” He asked me, “a friend.” I told him not wanting to say much before Edward spoke up about it, “I think he’s her mate.” he said to them and I sighed a little, “I saw this coming.” Alic said to us, “I’m not surprised.” I told her, “I’ve seen it. As soon as you left for school three years ago, I had a vision. Does he have platinum blond Hair like yours?” she said to me, “Yeah he does. We’re both in Slytherin too.” I said to her, “I saw your future with him. The both of you were happy.” she said to me and I felt my cheeks heat up a little, “alright now, let’s not have her get too embarrassed.” Carlisle said to them before we spent the rest of the day together and I had a good Christmas.

After the Holidays were over, everyone who had gone home for Christmas had made it back to the Castle and classes started back up again and the weather was starting to get warmer. After classes were over for the day, I was just leaving the Library before I bumped into Professor Lupin, “sorry sir.” I said to him, “That's quite alright. How was your Holiday? He said to me, “it was good, how was yours?” I said to him, “that’s good and it was alright.” he said to me, “I just had a thought, do you also want to know how to conjure your Patronus Charm along with Harry?” he said to me, “are you sure?” I asked him, “yes I’m sure. Maybe you could help out a little as well with Harry.” he said to me, “alright then.” I told him, “I’m on my way to do that now. I told Harry to meet me in my classroom.” He said to me and I followed him to his Classroom and we eventually made it there. I helped him set a few things up before Harry  walked into the room before Professor Lupin spoke up, “Harry, there you are. You came.” he said to Harry before he continued, “now are you sure about this Harry? You know this is very advanced Magic well beyond the Ordinary Wizarding Level.” Professor Lupin said to him, “I’m sure.” Harry said to him, “well everything is prepared and I’ve also allowed Rosella to participate as well. Now the spell that I’m going to try and teach the both of you is called the Patonus Charm, have either of you heard of it?” he said to us and both Harry and I shook our heads, “no? Well, a Patronus is a kind of Positive force and for the Wizard or Witch who can conjure one it works something like a shield from the Dementor feeding on it rather than him. But in order for it to work, you need to think of a Memory. Not just any memory but a very happy memory, a very Powerful Memory. Can you both do this?” he said to us and we nodded before he continued, “very well. Harry, we’ll start with you. Close your eyes. Concentrate. Explore your past. Do you have a memory? Allow it to fill you up. Lose yourself within it. Then speak the incantation, Expecto Patronum.” Professor Lupin said to him, “Expecto Patronum” Harry Repeated, “shall we.” Professor Lupin said as he soon stood next to the chest that he had, “wand at the ready.” he said to Harry before getting ready to open it and when he finally did, a Dementor flew out of it and Harry soon spoke up, “Expecto Patronum. Expecto.” he said before he began to fade before he fainted again and fell to the floor and I helped Professor Lupin put the Boggart back into the chest.

After a while, Harry finally started waking up and both Professor Lupin and I helped him sit up, “I didn’t expect you to do it the first time. That would have been remarkable. Here, eat this you’ll feel better.” he said to Harry as he gave him a piece of Chocolate, “that’s one nasty Dementor.” Harry said, “it wasn’t a Dementor.”  told him, “that was a Boggart Harry. A Boggart. The real thing would be worse, much, much worse. As a matter of interest, what were you thinking? Which memory did you choose?” Professor Lupin said to Harry, “the first time I rode a broom.” Harry said to him, “that's not good enough. That’s not nearly good enough.” Professor Lupin said to him, “There's another. It’s not happy exactly, wll it is. It’s the happiest I’ve ever felt. but it’s complicated.” Harry said, “Is it strong?” Professor Lupin asked him and Harry nodded, “then let’s give it a try. If you’re ready.” he said to Harry, “just do it.” Harry said as he got ready before Professor Lupin opened the chest again and the Boggart floated out before Harry spoke up again, “Expecto Patronum.” he said and he managed to conjure it and put the Boggart back into the chest before I helped Professor Lupin close it, “well done Harry. Well done.” Professor Lupin said to him, “I think I’ve had enough.” Harry said, “yes, sit down. We’ll take a minute before Rosella could have a try at it.” Professor Lupin said before giving Harry another piece of Chocolate, “it helps, it really helps. Just so you know, Harry, I think you would have given your father a run for his money and that’s saying something.” Professor Lupin said to him as the three of us sat down for a few moments, “I was thinking of him. And mum. Seeing their faces, they were talking to me, just talking. That’s the memory I chose. I don’t even know if it’s real but it’s the best I hav.” he said to us, “at least it was something.” I told him, “Now, are you ready?” Professor Lupin asked and I nodded before the three of us stood up, “do you remember what I said before?” He asked me and I nodded and began to think of a memory before I spoke up, “Expecto Patronum.” I said and a Wolf started running around the room and I smiled a little,

“well done Rosella, well done.” I heard Professor Lupin say as the Wolf continued to run around for a while longer before it disappeared and we continued to spend time with Professor Lupin. After spending time with practicing our Patronus Charms, both Harry and I had left the room and we talked about it for a while as we walked around before we had decided to go to our Common Rooms for the time being and by the time I made it to the Slytherin Common Room for the time being and did some homework before going to the Great Hall for dinner and I spent the entire time talking with Draco and the others until dinner was over and everyone had left the Great Hall and by the time I made it to the Common Room for the night and got changed for the night and did whatever homework I needed to get done before spending more time with Draco and the other’s for a while and after some time had passed, everyone had gone to bed for the night and I was the only one left in the Common Room and thought to myself for a while before I eventually grown tired and decided to go to bed for the night.
