Chapter Nineteen

ROSELLA’S P.O.V
After the day was over, it was dinner time and everyone had gone to the Great Hall for dinner and I sat next to Draco as the both of us talked as we waited for dinner to begin and after a while, Dumbledore finally spoke up to everyone, “before we begin the feast, let us have a round of applause for Professor Sprout Madam Pmfrey who’s Mandrake Juice has been so successfully administered to all who had been petrified.” h said to everyone and most of us clapped before he continued, “also in light of recent events, as a school treat, all Exams have been canceled.” he said to everyone and we all began to clap and cheer about it before we all calmed down not long after we noticed Hagrid walk into the room before he eventually spoke up, “sorry I’m late. The Owl that delivered my release papers got all lost and confused. Some ruddy bird called Errol.” Hagrid said and I chuckled a little knowing he was talking about Ron’s Owl before I noticed him stop in front of Harry and the other’s and spoke to them, “I would just like to say that if it hadn't been for you Harry and Ron and Hermione and Rpsella of course. I would still be You-Know-Where so I’d just like to say thanks.” Hagrid said and I got up and walked over to him as Harry had gotten up as well before he spoke up, “there’s know Hogwarts without you Hagrid.” Harry said to him, “he’s right.” I said to Hagrid and smiled a little and the both of us hugged Hagrid before we heard someone clapping and noticed that it was Dumbledore before Harry and I had started clapping as well before everyone else had started doing the same. After a while, I had gone to sit back down and everyone else had done the same before Dumbledore had begun the feast and we all started eating. After dinner was over, everyone left the Great Hall and made it back to their Common Rooms and by the time I made it back to the Slytherin Common Room for the night, I let out a sigh and sat down on the couch with Draco, “what are you going to be doing over the summer?” I asked him, “I’m not sure. What about you?” he said to me, “I’m not sure either.” I told him and the both of us continued to talk and spend time together before it got late and we had gone to bed for the night. When the next day came around, it was the day we’d all be leaving to go home for the summer and after packing everything and making sure everything was in my trunk, I had left my dorm and walked into the Common Room before Draco walked up to me, “ready to go?” he asked me and I nodded, “yeah.” I said to him and the both of us left the Common Room with Crabbe and Goyle and eventually made it to the Train and sat and talked with each other after getting on.

By the time I made it home from the station with Carlisle and Esme, I had gone to my room to start unpacking my things and By the time I was done and made sure everything was put away, I had gone downstairs and found everyone else in the Living Room and I sat down next to Rose and Alice and I talked with them the entire time as they talked about fashion and everything that’s involved with it. After some time had passed, they all decided to go hunting and I had gone with them and we all ran into the woods behind the house and found what we could before we decided to go back to the house. Not long after walking into the house, we all did our own thing for the rest of the night before I had gone to my room for the night and got changed into something comfortable. Later that night, I sat up for a while and looked out of the window before I was brought out of my thought’s when I heard someone walk into the room and saw that it was Edward before he sat down on the bed next to me, “you think too much.” he said to me and I sighed a little, “are you ever going to stop looking through my head?” I asked him, “not anytime soon.” He said to me and I sighed a little, “didn’t think so.” I said to him and he chuckled a little, “how was school this year?” he asked, “I thought you would have known by now.” I said to him, “I want to hear it from you.” he said to me, “everywhere I go something always happens or someone's asking me to help them with something like that. That’s probably another reason why we move around a lot.” I said to him, “it’s most likely a part of it. But I know Carlisle would do a lot for you.” he said to me and I sighed a little, "so, I've also noticed a name pop up in that head of yours. who's Draco?" he said to me, "a friend of mine. He's nice to me more than he is to the other's though." I told him, "why's that?" he asked me, "I don't know. it's something to do with him and his family being Pureblood Wizards and I suppose they have different standards then everyone else." I said to him, "there's something else between the both of you then just him being nice to you." he said to me and I sighed a little, "to be honest, I don’t know. It feels like there’s something but I can’t explain it.” I said to him, “I think he might be your mate.” he said to me and I looked at him, “don’t you think I’m a bit young for that? Besides, I don’t want him getting involved with all of this yet.” I told him, “I know you’re worried and you don’t have to say anything to him yet. Tell him when you’re ready.” he said to me and I sighed a little and the both of us continued to talk for a while before he left the room and I spent the rest of the night alone thinking about what Edward said to me and eventually went to bed later that night.

It was another day and I was in my room reading a book before I heard someone walk into the room and saw that it was Esme before I sat up and she sat on the side of the bed, “this came for you.” she said and handed me a letter and I furrowed my brows a little before Opening it and began to read it.

Dear Rosella,

I was hoping that you could come and sleep over this weekend at my place. I’ve already talked with my parents about it and they’ve both agreed to let you come around if you want to that is. Anyways, write back with your answer. I hope to see you this weekend.

After reading the letter, I folded it back up and put it on my nightstand, “who was it from?” Esme asked me, “Hermione. She’s a friend from school. She was asking if I could come by for a sleepover this weekend.” I told her, “do you want to go?” she asked me, “yeah. Am I able to?” I said to her, “of course.” she said and I smiled before I started writing the letter and once I was done, I sent it off before I started packing my things for when I leave for Hermione’s and by the time I was done, I made sure everything was packed before putting it off to the side for the time being and I spent time with the other's for a while. After some time had passed, it was finally the weekend and I gathered my things before heading downstairs and met with Esme, "do you have everything?" she asked me, "yeah." I told her and the both of us left the House. By the time we made it to Hermione's, Esme knocked on the door and we waited a few moments before someone answered the door and saw that it was an older woman, "you must be Rosella and her mother." she said to us and I nodded, "Yes. My name is Esme." she said to the woman, "nice to meet you. come in." she said and we walked into the house before seeing Hermione rush into the room, "Rosella, you made it." she said before she hugged me, "will you be alright now?" Esme asked me, "yeah, I'll be alright." I said to her, "alright, I'll see you on Sunday then. be good." she said to me, "alright, bye." I said to her before she left and Hermione's mother closed the door and both Hermione and I rushed upstairs and into her room and spent the day together and the both of us spent most of our time together. After spending the weekend at Hermione's I eventually had to go home and I told them how my weekend went before spending the rest of the Summer with everyone.
