I walk into the institution 'I'd like my old room please...' I say to the receptionist

He furrows his brows 'you were let out...' he states

I shrug 'turns out I like it here more... if I may just remind you I was a convicted murderer...' I state smiling

He nods hesitantly and processes me through.

They take me to my cell and I look around, everything was just how it was before. Quiet. No judgment.

I lay on the floor and look up to the glass ceiling, why did I feel so empty... like I was missing something or was it something else?

Meeting room next day
'Good morning...' fury says walking round the table

There's a collection of 'mornings' and 'hellos'

He stops at the front and places his hands down on the table.

'Any of you want to speak before I do?'

There's silence

'Ahh so there is a reason I got a call from the institution claiming of y/n's return, anyone want to explain why?'

Tony shrugs 'may want to specifically ask the people who look guilty...'

Fury raises a brow looking to Steve and Bucky, who had there heads down

'Roger's?..'

He huffs 'she threw knives and got all defensive when I questioned her' Steve states

Fury raises a brow 'well I'm sure she was well within her right... if the tension was like this now around her then tell me why did she feel like throwing knives was the best idea?' He dumbfounds

Wanda and Thor smirk

'She's mental, she needs help' Sam states

Fury raises his brow 'I think it's mental of you all to be surprised she acted such a way given she can hear and feel everything you are... you all need to make this right'

'And how would we do that? She hates the vast majority of us' Nat states

'Maybe just... give her an actual chance? Given none of you did in the first place...'

'And if she doesn't return?' Loki asks

Fury stares at him 'then explain why you stayed after all the crap they put you through... you can probably relate to her most'

Loki stares at him back 'I don't relate to that woman she's... strange'

Fury laughs 'well then you both should get along just fine then... everyone else grow up and grow a pair'

He walks out eyeing Steve, Tony claps his hands together 'who's ready to go apologise?' He says smirking
