Part 81 - Get Help

I feel a sharp pain go through me, I release his mind falling back from him. I land on the steps my back thudding onto them.

I look down to see a patch of blood seep through my clothes, I look up toward the throne where Odin sat, sword in hand.

Just then through another door I see a creature come through, he looked angry.

'This ends now...' the creatures mind spoke

I look toward Odin where he sat smirking 'I must say I don't know what I was so worried about, your not as stro-' before he could finish his words the creature stabs a sword into Odin, Odins eyes go wide as he looks to the creature.

'You take our home, families, I take your life...' the creature spoke.

He was of Niflheim, Thor had explained they had been fighting them on Odins orders. That Odins original claim was they were after the throne, they wanted to rule. I now knew how far from true that was.

I groan crawling down the steps, when I feel the creature approach. He holds me down and flips me to face him.

'What were you doing?!' He seethes

I groan holding up my hands 'I can show you...'

He looks at me hesitantly 'if this is a trick I will end your life sooner...'

I nod, I touch the sides of his face showing what I had seen in Odins mind. I remove them coughing.

'I was trying to help his sons... they knew something was off, they wish no war with you...'

He nods standing up 'the war is over...' he states before walking away.

Lokis POV
I fight beside Thor whilst y/n does her work. More and more kept coming, one after another some were overwhelming and getting closer and closer to the doors that separated us and her.

I feel a sharp pain, as if I were being stabbed in the heart. I look down to see no injury. I look up confused continuing to fight, something felt wrong, I could feel it in my heart.

'Thor! I could really do with some help here!' I shout

'Same goes for me brother! Shall we try get help?'

I groan continuing to fight 'no! We are not doing that!' I shout

Just then Hemidall comes from behind them and starts to slaughter releasing the huge amount me and Thor had.

'Thank god! I need to get in there!' I shout to Thor

'Go brother, we have them!' He booms

I open the doors to the throne room to see Odin dead in his throne, I furrow my brows looking around when I see y/n on the floor.

'Y/n!' I shout

I run over to her flipping her over, blood stained the front of her clothes. I hold onto her wound taking her onto my lap.

'Y/n!'

She opens her eyes and takes my hand 'it wasn't me...' she says before blacking out.

I sit up 'THOR!'

He bursts through the door and stands frozen in place. He turns to me to see y/n 'what? Ho-... she wasn't supposed to kill him!' He booms

'It wasn't her! Get the healers!'

'How do you know that?! Was it you?!'

I look at him, his face full of grief 'Thor she wouldn't kill our father... and as much as I dislike him I wouldn't either! Go get the healers!' I bellow

He stares for a moment before doing so, I look toward Odin. His nose and ears bleeding the same as y/n's had, he fought her...

Shortly after the healers including my mother come along, they take y/n away and immediately start their magic.

I look towards my mother, she stood still. Not a word. I walk up to the throne and look at Odin noticing the sword in his side, it was Niflheim made, I remove it and go to take it to my mother when I see the sword that laid on the ground. That was Odins... I pick it up and walk to Thor instead.

'Here is your proof... she nor did I do anything to him...  he did to her so yes maybe I would have killed him if someone hadn't got there first...'

I shove them into Thors arms before walking away. I make my way to the healers room and walk in to see them doing there work, one approaches.

'She will be fine my prince... she will wake in a few hours' she says

I nod gesturing for them to leave. I walk over to her as she lies there. I sigh taking her hand.

'You miss are in a load of trouble...'

I had sat there for about an hour, waiting for her when my mother walks in.

'As I told Thor it was nor y/n or me who did it...'

She nods coming over 'I know son... you can relax I came to see if she was well... I sent my best healers'

I nod 'she should wake soon...' I say

'Ok... well in that case here...' she takes of her ring passing it to me

I furrow my brows 'mother that is yours, there's no need'

She shakes her head placing it in my hand 'when me and your father were younger our love for eachother was similar to what you have with her, mine and your fathers didn't stay like that for long but I can tell this love you have for one another will never change...'

I look down at the ring, I had no words.

'Give it to her when the time is right... I know one day you'll be wed'

I smile lightly and give my mother a hug 'thank you mother..'

She nods pulling away before leaving. I look back to y/n, my mother was right one day she would be my wife, she would be mine.
