Part 88 - Christmas Special Pt 1

We were all doing our own things Wanda, Thor, Bruce and Steve were in the kitchen cooking. Bucky and Nat were setting the table and me and Loki were tidying the living quarters, much to Lokis protest.

'I am a god, why do I have to do this?' He exclaims

'Because we were last up...' I state

'Because your kitten kept licking my nose'

I laugh and fling a sock at Loki, he looks to me angry 'really?!'

'I think it's Steve's, your closest to the wash basket'

He eye rolls getting up 'your lucky I love you'

I smile sweetly giggling. The elevator doors open revealing Clint and his family.

I get up and greet them 'hi! You must be Laura' I say smiling

She smiles 'it's lovely to finally meet you!' She says giving a quick hug

'And these are?'

'I'm Lila and these are my brothers Cooper and baby Nathaniel...' the little girl speaks

I smile 'it's lovely to meet you all... there's cookies on the table if you want some..' I say giving them a cheeky grin

They cheer running off, I look to Clint and Laura. Clint looked displeased'it's Christmas...' I say

He shrugs 'must be, is that Loki tidying up?'

I smile 'it is... he's loving it!' I say enthusiastically

'Sure...' Clint says unconvinced

Just then Tony comes in 'who let the rugrats loose?' He asks seeing the kids running around

'Your double... come let's go see what their doing...' Clint says to Laura

I turn to Tony who had pepper around his arm. 'Oh my god a smart, pretty woman who isn't a skank.'

'Y/n!' Tony scolds

Pepper laughs 'Tony I think you forget I had to usher majority of them girls out... y/n I'm so happy to see you!' She says taking me into a hug before going through

I turn to Tony with raised brows 'who knew the playboy millionaire would pull a woman like that, your lucky...' I say

He shrugs 'she's the one...'

I go wide eyed 'oh my god your not joking? What happened? Did the grinch grow a heart over night?'

'Ha ha, sort of... I've always loved her'

I nod 'glad you came to your senses...'

He nods before going in, I smile to myself. I was glad he was happy, that he finally had faced his feelings.

After a while everyone had arrived Sam with his sister and her children and Peter and his Aunt May.

We were all seated playing a game of Christmas charades.

Loki just stands there, I had read his mind and I was waiting for Tony to say it.

'Reindeer!' Tony yells

I laugh as Loki comes to sit down 'you acted that well' I say

He smiles 'I'm so glad that's the one I picked...' he says relieved

The elevator doors open again and I see Elijah and Amanda come through. I run to go hug them.

'Happy Christmas!' I yell

They look to me 'are you ok?' Elijah asks

I nod 'yeah fine, had a candy cane. Think I may have a bit of a sugar rush.'

They laugh coming in and going to sit with everyone. I turn and see my dad, I give him a hug.

'Merry Christmas y/n...' he says

I pull away smiling lightly 'merry Christmas dad...'

He smiles going in following Elijah and Amanda.

I look at everyone on the sofas and the floor. It was like a big happy family, something I had never experienced before. Something I had never thought I would have.

Lyla comes running up to me 'you look sad...' she says sweetly

I smile pushing my tears away 'no, I'm very happy. Did you need something?' I ask crouching down to her

'Can we play?' She asks

I smile 'sure, we have to sit at dinner though...'

She nods pulling me along.

Lokis POV
I notice y/n still gone and sit up looking around the room.

'She's fine brother...' Thor says pointing over by the tree

I look over to see y/n and the little girl sitting together playing something.

I smile lightly, I had never seen y/n around kids before. And never in my life had I wanted one for us more than in this moment.

'What is it brother?' Thor asks concerned

I look to him 'do you think I'd be a good dad, one day, maybe?' I ask unsure

He booms a laugh 'of course! Why ask something so stupid?'

I shrug 'well I know nothing of it...'

He smiles patting my shoulder 'you'll be great one day...'

'Dinners ready!' Wanda calls coming through

Everyone starts making there way to the table, I see the little girl join her brothers. I turn to face y/n, her face was a picture.

'You ok their darling?' I ask smiling

She nods 'I'm not aloud to take these off, there her special Christmas stickers...' she says pointing to her face

I smile wide, her face was covered in stickers all dotted around. 'You look wonderful...'

She smiles 'thanks, I told her to do Tony's next'

We laugh heading to the table.

'Wow! Umm Lyla what did you do to y/n's face hunny?' Laura asks

She sits up looking to y/n smiling wide 'I used my special stickers... she's very pretty...' she explains

Clint laughs 'so you covered her in stickers?'

'My special stickers!' She argues

'Gosh darn it Clint, her special stickers!' Tony exclaims

'I wouldn't Tony...' I warn

'What?'

'Y/n said your next!' Lyla explains

Tony looks to y/n annoyed, y/n just laughs as does the rest of the table.

I could feel y/n's feelings they were as happy as she had been at her brothers wedding, she was truly happy.

I look to her taking her hand, she looks at my action and then to me smiling sweetly. Oh how I loved her.
