Y/n POV
'What now?...' I ask quietly

'That all depends on you... as I said I will step away but y/n don't make me do it on what Odin speaks of... not for something that isn't true...'

I nod taking his hand 'ok... let's do it'

He smiles kissing my cheek 'I believe I owe you a view..'

I furrow my brows and follow. We walk through the forest the moonlight breaking through the trees above, I hear streams of water in which he follows.

We make it to a small pond type area, the water looked clear, there was flowers and vines the surrounded the outer walls of it. I look to him. This was beautiful.

He takes off his blazer and undoes his cuffs. I look toward him 'your going in?!'

He nods smirking 'yeah... are you?'

I smile lightly 'as much as I'd love to, no swim wear..'

He laughs 'you think I'm wearing trunks?'

He takes off his shirt and trousers leaving him in his underwear, he steps into the water and relaxes.

'In my underwear?' I ask

He nods 'only if you're comfortable..'

I nod taking a breathe, I strip my dress off and step into the water where I sit next to Loki. His chest looked toned, the moonlight showing the shapes and carves.

'Eyes up here darling...'

I smirk 'like you didn't look...'

He holds up his hands in defence 'how could I not!'

We laugh together 'this really is beautiful...' I say

He nods 'it is...'

I turn to face him and see him staring at me. I pull him towards me latching my legs around his waist, his arms holding my waist. All this time I had been avoiding his touch trying to outrun my demons. But this felt different to the times I had been touched in such a way.

It felt passionate, caring, full of love, he was gentle. With the memories that filled my head this felt odd, I never thought I could have an intimate moment with him again after my experiences rised again.

'What is it love?' He asks

'I think I'm ready to talk about my memories that rised...'

He looks to me unsure 'you don't have to... only if you're truly ready..'

I nod 'I am... Lo... one of my adoptive family's, the one in that town by the beach, my foster dad.. he used to hurt me...'

He nods 'which is why you went to the beach?... I'm sorry y/n...'

I shake my head, tears threatening to fall. I look down to the water 'no... he- touched me...'

I feel Lokis stance stiffen, he pulls my face to look up at him 'y/n... what are you saying?'

'I was sexually abused...' I felt tears run down my face, his face looked pained his eyes glassed over. I could feel the pain he felt for me radiate around us.

He lets go of me immediately 'am I triggering you? Was it me that morning at the Beach?'

I shake my head 'no, no, I feel safe with you... this moment here made me realise that. Every time I thought about stuff like that it always went back to what happened but between us it's different, I've never felt safer in another's arms like I do yours...'

He nods and pulls me into his arms hugging me tightly 'I'm so sorry this happened y/n... I'm so glad you told me... I'll never let anything like that happen again..'

I look up to him glassy eyed, his skin tinting blue. I could feel his anger, his hate towards what had happened to me. I kiss his cheek and smile gently at him.

'Frost giants are protective of their mates, his side can feel my hurt for you...' he says

I nod touching the sides of his face 'I'm okay... I'm safe, I know I am.'

He nods 'thank you for opening up to me...'

Later
We had made our way back to the palace when guards approached us. 'The allfather wishes to see you both...'

We walk through to the throne room where Odin sat on the throne with Frigga by his side and Thor standing facing them.

'What is this about?' Loki asks

'You will be returning to Midgard, I can't have you stay for long due to your choices...'

Loki nods 'with all due respect father you wouldn't have found anyone that could reach beyond y/n... she is my mate'

Odin nods 'I am aware... are you courting now?...'

Loki looks to me, I smile lightly 'if you wish...' I say

He nods 'we are...'

Odin nods displeased 'are you sure she will be enough? That she isn't going to get in your way?'

Loki nods 'she's more than enough... I hope one day you realise her worth...'

He nods 'off you go... don't say I didn't warn you...'

We walk out and hear footsteps behind us 'I'm sorry dear... I wasn't aware of your fathers choices...' Frigga says

Loki nods 'we will see you soon mother...'

She nods and turns to me 'I am truly sorry dear, I hope next time I will see more of you..'

I nod 'me too. Thank you' I say

She hurries off smiling when Thor comes along, his smile wide. 'Lady y/n... it seems as though I'm your new brother in law...'

I roll my eyes 'nope we're not married...'

Thor raises a brow 'yeah when is such a thing going to happen?'

'Brother...'

'Sorry sorry... I will keep this to myself now...'

'Thank yo-' Loki goes to say

'I have a sister!!' He booms hugging me tightly

Loki face plants 'don't break her brother'

'Impossible... she's far too strong for that' Thor booms

'Let's go home...' Loki says, I smile lightly.
