The summer was drawing to a close. The leaves had started changing colors as fall approached. The black Mercedes-Benz G-Class was blazingly fast, rocketing down the road with unparalleled speed. It was clearly exceeding limits and breaking rules. But the driver appeared unfazed. The road was lined with trees, and the car wove aggressively through lanes, narrowly avoiding other vehicles as it accelerated.

The G-Wagon's excessive speed caught the attention of a highway patrol officer. The officer engaged the sirens and flashing lights, sending a clear signal to the speeding driver.

The driver, with bloodshot eyes, noticed the flashing lights in the rearview mirror.

"Attention! This is the police. Pull over to the side of the road immediately. I repeat, pull over now."

The driver scoffed, ignoring the command and accelerating further.

, Ignoring the command, the driver accelerated, weaving through traffic in a desperate attempt to evade capture. The patrol car, undeterred, matched the G-Class's speed and maneuvered expertly to block its path.

The pursuit intensified as the patrol car managed to position itself in front of the speeding vehicle, forcing it to slow down. With no escape route, the driver had no choice but to bring the car to a stop on the shoulder of the road.

The patrol car halted directly in front of the G-Class, its lights still flashing and sirens blaring. The officer stepped out, approaching the luxurious car with a stern expression.

He didn't exit his vehicle. Anger seethed through him, evident in every fiber of his being. But his heart was in another state-paining sharply with a sensation he had never experienced before. It felt as though his heart was bleeding in scarlet agony. He rested his head against the luxurious seat's headrest and closed his eyes, trying to escape the pain.

The patrolling officer approached the car and knocked on the sleek black window. Rolling it down, the driver scoffed and handed over his license, fully aware that he would be fined for speeding but too exhausted to care.

"Sir, you need to come to the station with us," the officer said, examining the license.

"It's just a speeding ticket," the driver replied, resting his head against the seat again.

"Sir, it seems you're driving under the influence," the officer's statement made him open his eyes. He frowned at the police officer, who was bending slightly to meet his gaze.

"I'm not," he retorted, rubbing his temple as the pain in his chest began to migrate to his head.

"Kindly cooperate with us," the officer said. From the car, he could tell the boy was a wealthy brat, and the lack of intimidation suggested he was not afraid of any consequences.
