Jungkook and Taehyung had only returned to Seoul two night ago, the exhaustion of the journey lingering in Jungkook's bones. But there was no rest. The early morning board meeting had kept him away, and then a pationate night

— And now,

The soft light of dawn filtered through the sheer curtains, casting long shadows over the polished mahogany furniture of the study.  Jungkook sat at his desk, rigid, his fingers tracing the edges. Seojoon stood next to him, his posture stiff, eyes trained on the floor.

Jungkook slammed his palm down on the table with a sharp crack that echoed through the room. “What do I do, huh? You told me Taehyung was pregnant, but he isn’t! Seojoon, can I even trust you with his life?” His voice, low but full of intensity, trembled with frustration, eyes dark with anger.

Seojoon expression remained as robotic as always. His lips pressed into a thin line, eyes darting to the door for a split second.

A soft knock interrupted the tension. Taehyung entered the room quietly, his presence immediately changing the atmosphere. Jungkook’s hard gaze softened the moment he saw him.

“Tae, blueberry,” Jungkook's voice lowered, warm and sweet, as if speaking to a fragile flower. “We’re just discussing something.” The love and tenderness that dripped from his words were undeniable.

Seojoon let out a breath, a rare and almost inaudible sigh. His eyes flickered, betraying a brief moment of envy. He cursed inwardly at Jungkook’s effortless duality—the cold, ruthless businessman in one breath, and the devoted, tender partner in the next. It was infuriating.

Taehyung leaned back in the chair with a lazy elegance, crossing one leg over the other as he gave Jungkook a knowing look. “You’re taking his class because of me,” he shrugged, his tone casual but laced with a hint of mischief. His eyes sparkled as he smirked at Seojoon, who stood rigidly to the side. “So, I think I should be here,” Taehyung mumbled, his voice teasingly soft, but his presence impossible to ignore.

Seojoon inhaled deeply, his chest rising as he forced his lungs to gather all the air they could hold. His mind raced, trying to process Taehyung’s words. Class? What was he implying? Taehyung’s playful smirk only seemed to intensify Seojoon’s discomfort. The boy radiated a subtle venom, especially in the way his gaze lingered on Seojoon, like a predator eyeing prey.

Taehyung, clearly enjoying the tension he was creating, smiled at Seojoon, a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. The smirk widened, showing no intention of hiding his underlying, almost vicious feelings toward the buff man. There was something about Seojoon that irked him, and Taehyung was making sure he felt it.

Jungkook cleared his throat, trying to pull focus back to the real issue. “Right... Seojoon, you gave me the wrong information about Taehyung’s pregnancy,” his voice was steady, but his clenched jaw gave away the frustration simmering just beneath the surface.
