✧Jungkook strode out to his car, Taehyung clinging to him like his life depended on it. The boy's face was buried in Jungkook's neck, his small frame trembling from the events that had unfolded. Jungkook's hands were wrapped securely around him, holding him close, as if shielding him from the world.
Taehyung looked so small, fragile even, as he quivered in Jungkook's arms. Jungkook could feel every shake, every quiet breath, as he carefully opened the car door. Gently, he placed Taehyung on the passenger seat, his touch tender as if afraid to break him. After fastening the seatbelt, Jungkook crouched down beside the open door, leveling his eyes with Taehyung.
With a soft sigh, he brushed back Taehyung's messy hair, tucking the strands behind his ear.
With another quiet sigh, Jungkook stood up and walked around to the driver's seat. The car engine hummed to life as he glanced at Taehyung, still motionless beside him. Without a word, Jungkook drove off, heading to their farmhouse.
Jungkook's jaw was tightly clenched, his fists gripping the steering wheel with white knuckles. Not once did he glance over at Taehyung, who sat silently beside him. The tension in the car was thick, almost suffocating. Soon, the car rolled to a stop in front of a secluded farmhouse.
Without a word, Jungkook got out and came around to Taehyung's side. In one swift motion, he lifted Taehyung into his arms, cradling him in a bridal style. Taehyung wanted to ask why they were here, but the fierce blaze in Jungkook's eyes stopped him. There was a storm brewing inside him, and Taehyung dared not challenge it.
As they stepped inside, Taehyung glanced around. The place was beautiful, the kind of property that only wealth could buy. How many more places did the Jeon family own in Busan, he wondered, for Jungkook to bring him here so casually, as if it were nothing?
Jungkook's footsteps echoed in the quiet house, steady and fast as he carried Taehyung up the stairs. His grip was firm, and Taehyung could feel the tension radiating from him.
They entered a room at the end of the hall, and without pausing, Jungkook headed straight for the bathroom. He gently set Taehyung down on the edge of the slab, his movements still deliberate, though the intensity in his eyes had not faded.
"Take it off," Jungkook grumbled before abruptly walking away.
Taehyung blinked, utterly dumbfounded. Take it off? What did he even mean? His heart raced, confusion swirling through him as he watched Jungkook disappear from the room.
Moments later, Jungkook returned, a first aid kit in hand. His eyes darkened at the sight of the faint traces left on Taehyung's skin-the scent of another man, the blood staining Taehyung's shirt. It was unbearable, infuriating.
