Evelyn has been by herself a lot more latley. Coming back to Hogwarts has reminded her of what she has lost. Although Steph has been trying to cheer her up and Luna has been helping too, she couldn't help but feel lonley.

Cedric has been walkig with her to her classes too, but it was still the same feeling of loneliness. She was making a plan to leave the castle one day to go and find her parents. She had the intention, but she just didn't know how to make it happen.

She had no idea where they were, or how to look for them in the first place. Where they even alive? Would it be worth it?

She knows she has told Harry that she would never leave them behind, she knows it's dangerous and if she left it could put everyone else in danger too, but she couldn't help herself but want her parents back.

Was it selfish of her to want that? Harry didn't have his parents either, but at least she had a chance. Should she take it?

As always, coming to Hogwarts also meant being away from Harry for longer periods of times. They usually met at the end of the day in the backyard to talk about their day, but there were times in which they didn't have the energy and skipped it, making it almost a whole week without seeing each other.

She could feel though that something exciting was happening in his life and she was sad she didn't know what it was. She has seen Hermione in the hallways and she has talked to her, telling Evelyn that Harry has been doing very good in potions, that he was actually the best of their class.

It was weird though, she was sure there was more to that story. How come he was the best in it when last year he used to complain about the subject?

"Well he wants to become an auror, but I also think there's more to it than that. He has also been going to Dumbledore's office more often, I think they're up to something." Hermione told her and she agreed completely.

Harry has also told her once last year that he wasn't sure if he wanted to be an auror or a teacher. Personally, she saw him more as a teacher than an auror, but of course it was up to him, she would support him either way.

Were they a couple yet? Does it count having a boyfriend but not seeing him for a whole week?

"Hey, earth to Evelyn?" She snapped out of her thoughts as she remembered she was with Steph. "You've been doing a lot of that lately... you know you can talk to me, right?"

Eve only nodded, because she didn't really know what to say. "Okay well-" She went back to her thoughts as Steph continued talking, hoping Luna was paying more attention than she was.

However, when she continued talking, Evelyn saw Malfoy once more, looking very suspiscious. She has also noticed him looking thinner and paler than usual.

"Sorry- I uh- I'm going to the toilet." Evelyn managed to say before leaving, Steph was used to this by now so she didn't question it.

She was still upset though, she wanted to talk to Evelyn, she wanted her to open up, but it was impossible.

"She'll come around." Luna said, trying to reasure her.

"I hope so..." She said as she sigh and continued her conversation with Luna.

Meanwhile, Evelyn went once more the same corridors she has been to before, following Malfoy to what she guessed was that horrible cabinet.

However, this time, she saw that he had an apple with him. Once they got there, he took off the blanket that was covering it. He opened the cabinet and put the apple in, then closed it. A few moments later, he opened the cabinet again and when he took the apple, it was bitten.
